Click here to watch Bill Clinton's first interview on "This Week with David Brinkley" in 1991, before he was even an official candidate for president. And don't forget to watch "This Week" on Sunday to see Clinton's latest appearance as I ask him about Haiti, politics, the Middle East and much more.

Biden Reflects on Grief, Suicidal Thoughts
Is Congress Sounding Dumber?
How much does he get for a speech? Oh, I forgot, it doesen’t matter because he is the impeached poster creep for the dems. Speech details only matter if we are talking about Palin.

Cmon wvason, cut the media a break, they are only trying to help out another guy who grew up without a father.
The attention helps them cope with the grind of daily living.

Ask him how he feels about his wife’s comment in 2003 and why he now feels the tea party is any different that the views expressed by his wife.
Hillary -
“I am sick and tired of people who say that if you debate and you disagree with this administration, somehow you’re not patriotic, and we should stand up and say, “WE ARE AMERICANS AND WE HAVE A RIGHT TO DEBATE AND DISAGREE WITH ANY ADMINISTRATION!”

Hmmmm… looks like Clinton’s speech on Friday touched a couple of nerves. I thought he made some very pertinent points. There *is* a very slippery slope from angry anti-government rhetoric to violence like the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing and “the words we use really do matter.” Unfortunately, many on the Right are very comfortable with that slippery slope because they are masters of denial when it comes to accepting responsibility for the consequences of what one supports, incites, does. (ex.– see the collective amnesia of the Right in relation to the state of the economy and Bush admin’s policies).
I’m also glad he called out Armey and Gingrich for reprising their roles– and reminded us that this crapola happens whenever someone left of center, no matter how slight– is elected by the People. The Right quickly acts to dupe the more easily duped among us.

Bill Clinton needs to give this speech to President Obama. In a June 14, 2008 speech, Obama said, “If they bring knives, we will bring guns.”

Curious if President Clinton still goes to church on Sundays, carrying his bible, as reported by the media when he was President. Not being disrespectful–but wondering if that has changed.

You both looked really silly sitting in those “Director’s Chairs”. Really, you should insist on better staging for you interviews.
