I was responding to an earlier post you had written when I posted the Halliburton article:
“Where were you when Haliburton was siphoning taxpayer funds under a pretext of supplying the troops?”
I was proving the point that this administration is following MANY of the same things liberals were obsessively against when Bush was President. I didn’t get into being more conservative until you wrote, “You Republicans…..”
The difference is you and I is when I post something, I write about the topic. I don’t give a “personal opinion, feeling, or suspicion” about people who might have a different viewpoint than me. It accomplishes nothing. Unless you get paid by the number of responses you get each day?

The left is so out of touch with reality and mainstream that they can’t even see the giant train coming in November. It will be humorous to hear the media try to explain the giant conservative uprising at the ballot box. They will blame everything but the ideals and policies of the left. They can’t possibly have been wrong all along! They can’t actually be in the minority with their socialist and “progressive” thinking… can they?
I voted for Barak because I was sold a well positioned brand. That brand promised me reform, fairness, and openness. I honestly thought this “cool, hip young guy” would be good for the USA. That brand even had a nice little logo like Pepsi and fun little slogans like “Yes we can!” The brand had a young hip mascot that spoke so eloquently and passionately as it sold me the product. It took all of 60 days for me to realize I didn’t get Pepsi… I got Kool Aid. I sat back and took a big drink from the glass and passed it along. I now see the Kool Aid was poisoned and the sickness is taking hold in my beloved country. I will NEVER drink the socialist Kool Aid again!
We must choose our leaders based on their past associations and dealings and not neat t-shirts and bumper sticker slogans. I will never cast a vote again like I am voting for American Idol. I will do all I can this election cycle to promote conservative candidates.
I am fired up AND MOBOLIZED to bring about REAL change now! I have never been involved in any type of campaign before but I will definitely volunteer my time to help undo the damage I have helped cause by casting my vote for this liberal big government ego-maniac. I am sorry America. I was duped like so many were. We are aware though. We are mad as hell and we are getting organized. We will make it up to you. Do you hear the November train coming?

The same article mentioned Democrat McCahill and “RINO” Susan Collins holding Haliburton accountable…but that means nothing to you…you are just noticing now that wars cost a lot of money? I think your defintiion of “conservative” is you don’t like Obama personally.

Amy in Maine; You think Obama inherited a bad hand with the financial crisis? How about the holy war that was laid in Bush’s lap? We can recover from or adjust to the new economy though we’ll never overcome the debt. But what to do about the wars? As soon as we pull out there will be revolution and new radical governments in both countries. Why would any rational person think countries that have been essentially uncivilized for centuries would suddenly change because of western influence? We obviously can’t stop all the terror attempts. If 9/11 had been sniffed out and thwarted do you believe there would not have been a subsequent successful attempt? Don’t forget the World Trade Center was bombed before on Clinton’s watch. There will be more attacks on our soil.
