ABC News’ Rick Klein reports: Republicans served notice that they see a potential political issue in the arrest and handling of terror suspect Faisal Shahzad — even before it’s clear how broad the plot was, how Shahzad has been interrogated, and what information Shahzad is providing.  On ABC’s “Top Line” today, Republican strategist Kevin Madden told us that Republicans are moving quickly because it highlights a contrast between the two parties.  “Democrats see it as a law enforcement issue, and we see it a primarily a military issue or an intelligence issue,” Madden told us. “Their first instinct was this is probably not a [wider] problem, and then as they gathered more information, it was a problem. And I think Republicans — we tend to do it the opposite.” Watch the “Top Line” segment with Kevin Madden HERE.
