Chu in ’07: BP “Will Help Us Save the World”

ABC News' Jonathan Karl reports: Back in 2007, when Steven Chu had words of extremely high praise for BP.   Chu, then the director of the Lawrence Berkeley National Lab and a professor at UC Berkeley, praised BP for making a $500  million investment in the Energy Biosciences Institute at UC-Berkeley.

Here’s how Chu put it, in an on-camera interview at the institute:

“Now, with partnering with BP, we will have the resources to actually carry out some of the things we want to do to in order to help save the world.”
