CIA: Iran Could be Two Years from Nuclear Bomb
EmailIn an EXCLUSIVE interview on “This Week,” CIA Director Leon Panetta said if the Iranians chose to pursue making a nuclear weapon, they could have a bomb in two years.
In Iran, “there is a continuing debate right now about whether or not they ought to proceed with a bomb. But they clearly are developing their nuclear capability and that raises concerns,” Panetta said. “Just exactly what are their intentions?”
“We think they have enough low-enriched uranium right now for two weapons,” the CIA Chief said. “They do have to enrich it fully to get there. And we would estimate if they made that decision, it probably would take a year to get there. Probably take another year to develop the kind of weapon delivery system in order to make that viable,” he told host Jake Tapper.

I would bet that they could by small nuclear weapons as easily as I could order a pair of shoes on the internet. These guys are just playing a little game of cat and mouse.. hoping that the West will either look weak and ineffectual or agressive and anti-Muslim. They win either way.

Iran will detonate their first nuclear bomb within the year… the Obama administration will see this as a good thing since now they can apply the concept of nuclear deterrence to Iran…

it’s happened all too frequently.
“First, in April 1984, Jane’s Defense Weekly reported that West German intelligence believed that Iran could have a nuclear bomb within two years. Twenty-six years later, that bomb has not been produced.
On June 27, 1984, the late Sen. Alan Cranston was quoted by The Age, a broadsheet daily newspaper published in Melbourne, Australia, claiming that Iran was seven years away from being able to build its own nuclear weapon. When Cranston passed away in 2000, Iran’s nuclear bomb was nowhere to be found.
On April 12, 1987, David Segal published a piece in the Washington Post titled “Atomic Ayatollahs: Just What the Mideast Needs – an Iranian Bomb,” sounding the alarm about Iran’s forthcoming nuclear weapon.”
and these are just a few of the propaganda pieces to get your hatred of Iran up to a fever pitch.
we been fooled in the 80′s, the 90′s, the 00′s, and the 10′s. will we ever get enough brains to see?
