Kagan’s Comedy Club

ABC News' Jonathan Karl reports: A Supreme Court confirmation hearing is not usually a laughing matter, but Elena Kagan has had the Senate Judiciary Committee in stitches. Kagan’s friends and colleagues already knew she had a quick wit and so did some of her critics.  As Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) said on Monday, “No one has any doubt that Ms. Kagan is bright and personable and easy to get along with, but the Supreme Court is not a dinner club.” Well, the Supreme Court may not be a dinner club, but at times the Senate Judiciary committee today looked like a comedy club.  And it wasn’t just Kagan cracking jokes.  Here are some of the days lighter moments – – Jonathan Karl
