President Obama today will make his fourth trip to the Gulf Coast, this time visiting Alabama, Mississippi and Florida to assess the effects of the oil spill.
Upon arrival in Gulfport, Mississippi, Obama will receive a briefing with Adm. Thad Allen and local officials at the Coast Guard Station.
Afterward he will host a roundtable and meet with local residents in Gulfport.
In the afternoon, the president will tour a staging area for boom in Theodore, Alabama.
He will then travel by ferry from Dauphin Island, Alabama, to Fort Morgan, Alabama.
The president will travel to Pensacola, Florida, and spend the night.
