After spending the day in Alabama and Mississippi on Monday, President Obama wakes up this morning in Pensacola, Florida.
In the morning, he will receive a briefing with Admiral Thad Allen and local officials on the oil spill. Afterward the president will speak in front of military personnel at Pensacola’s Naval Air Technical Training Center, wrapping up his two-day trip to the region.
Mr. Obama will then return to Washington, DC, for his Oval Office address, where he intends to address the nation with an update on the oil spill.
