Refudiate This: Sarah Palin Goes Shakespearean

It’s not often you’ll find a Politician with S. Pay-Lend’s “character-set”; Ignorance, Arrogance,”Low-Level Learner” and “Street Hustler” – ALL Rolled Into one political entity. It’s abundantly clear; Character “ain’t a biggie” with Republican’ts! (sic)

When Obama said “wee -wee’d up” he meant to. When Palin says “refudiate’ she’s not joking, she’s doing the best she can.

If she used it on a Fox news show, it wasn’t a typo. She honestly believed it was a cromulant word. (Cromulant being a word made up by the Fox show “The Simpsons.”)

If you listen to the Hannity interview, she does indeed say “refudiate” — but I think it musta been some intellectual liberal who corrected it for the transcript. You intellectual elitists are destroying America, tryna be so CORRECT all the time!! ;)

Today at lunch, my colleague told the waitress to leave off mayo because he didn’t want the sandwich “soggified”.
We all laughed. Even the High School waitress knew the word was not in the English language.

Not really a new word, but a misspelling on an existing word. I’ll be honest I had to look it up, and I found that she meant Repudiate. This is something I think a lot of us have had happen to us, we mispronounce a word based on where we live and we go thinking that word means what it means. A odd ball example would be someone saying I like to drink wooder. That doesn’t mean wooder is a new word meaning water, it means that they were prouncing it incorrectly and passing it into their text. I don’t fault her for the misspelling, happens to me from time to time.

How come you lefties didn’t harass Obama when he said he had been to all “57 states”, or when he didn’t know what the financial term “P/E” meant, or when he said “corpsmen” wrong three times in a row.(should be pronounced “core” “Men”, not like a dead corpse).Or when he said passing healthcare reform by “nuclear option” would make things un-governable? As well as the lists of dumb,contradictions he’s made?
I’m not saying she’s a genius, but every one that read that knows she mis-spoke, substituting the “p” for and “f”.

Shakespeare used malapropisms for the sake of comedy. Sadly, Sarah Palin uses them with a straight face.
It’s a shame won’t consider having her jaw wired shut.

If we want perfection from our politicians, we’d better start electing robots. Obama publicly stated that we have 57 states (when he was tired on the campaign trail) and apparently can’t spell “Syracuse”, but no one takes that as a sign of lack of intelligence.

I think it’s funny that Palin did something we all do. It’s not unusual when we speak to combine two words when we’re thinking of two words at the same time. But, the difference between us and Palin is we feel bad when we do it. Palin tries to take her mistake and spin herself into one of the greatest writers in history. I’m wondering: Did Shakespeare use his hands for notes?

Politicians make up words all the time. Why does it matter where it is Palin or Obama? Obama didn’t know there were 50 states in the Union when he incorrectly stated there were 57 states! Regarding her comment about the Islamic Community Center & Mosque being built near Ground Zero, wasn’t this country founded on freedom of religion?? Islamic people are NOT the only people capable of terrorism. What about Timothy McVeigh? He was a home grown American and look what he did in his terror attack in Oklahoma City. In my opinion, the people who want to build the Islamic Community Center & Mosque have as much right to do it as the Catholic Church might have. History tells us what they have done in the name of their religion. Any religious or secular group is capable of terrorism. Why single out the Islamic people? I think that this center could do a lot toward bringing people together if only folks would open their minds.

You people focus on her and not the mosque. This is the issue and it is clear that the muslims are putting it there for one reason – as a slap in the face to 9/11. Islam is an ideology a mix of religion, law, and life. It is designed to take over and it will if we let it.

If I took the time to take potshots at every time ABC News misused a word or had a careless typographical error, I’d be busy for the rest of my life and beyond! I suggest you look for real news. And perhaps you might consider taking a course in English grammar yourself.
