Sarah Palin’s ‘Mama Grizzlies’ Put to the Test
EmailABC News’ Huma Khan reports: The power of Sarah Palin’s endorsements will once again be put to the test today as one of her "mama grizzlies," Karen Handel, faces off in Georgia’s GOP gubernatorial primary. Handel, Georgia’s former secretary of state, has emerged in the lead against six other candidates. A Mason-Dixon survey released Sunday showed her leading the pack with 29 percent of voter support, and former front-runner John Oxendine in second place with 22 percent. Pollsters say Handel’s campaign gained steam after Palin’s endorsement last week touting her as a “great commonsense conservative woman,” and a robocall Palin taped, encouraging voters to dismiss the “crazy things” being said about Handel. Handel herself took a few pointers from the former Alaska governor. In her campaign, Handel constantly stressed her position as the sole female candidate. Her first and only TV ad, “Lipstick,” slammed her main opponents as “three with iffy ethics” and her as one who “wears lipstick” — topped with an image of an Ox wearing red lipstick. The race will likely head into a runoff unless one candidate can secure at least 50 percent of the votes. In other “mama grizzly” news, Palin on Monday endorsed another heavy hitter, Republican Kelly Ayotte, for the New Hampshire Senate seat currently occupied by Sen. Judd Gregg. Palin – in her typical Facebook endorsement – praised Ayotte’s anti-abortion rights stance and warned voters of negative ads against the “Granite Grizzly.” She also took a stab at Ayotte’s main rival in the primary, Republican businessman Bill Binnie, and Democrat Rep. Paul Hodes. The congressman released a controversial ad earlier this month attacking Ayotte for deleting her e-mails to cover up her department’s investigation of what is alleged to be the state’s largest Ponzi scheme. “This pro-life, pro-family, anti-tax constitutional commonsense conservative is the Democrats’ biggest fear in November. They’re already running false ads against her weeks before even the primary election,” Palin wrote. “And on top of that Kelly is facing attacks from a self-funded millionaire running with an R next to his name who likes Obamacare and cap-and-tax.” Palin’s endorsements have helped lift many underdogs to the forefront, including South Carolina Republican gubernatorial candidate Nikki Haley and California Senate candidate Carly Fiorina. But not all of her candidates have been so lucky — In Arkansas, Cecile Bledsoe lost the Republican primary for one of the House seats, and third party candidate Doug Hoffman lost in New York's 2009 special election for Congress. — Huma Khan

Palin stated the following: “I didn’t know Bristol was sexually active” “I didn’t think I needed to have that talk about birth control” ” Bristol is committed to abstinence” “I had “NO IDEA” they were engaged again” ….. and in Seven (7) Months when her 10 pound Grandchild is born …..she will say “it was premature”….. Come on “Woman of America”….. (PPP) …Payless Palin for President????? ….. We can do better than this!!!

Associates ….even the Dog…..and her too…… then join forces with a comedian whom he spoon feed material too….then winked-off at the Palins Family in Playgirl Magazine……. and then she turn around and announce she is marrying him in a Tabloid Magazine….. without telling the very people he trashed for over a Year?? .. I would advise a very long engagement …. unless Trip is about to have a sibling! Bristol is young…. an should not be propped up as a Role Model for Young Girls….period! As for Sara Palin ….stop propping her up as a good Mother…. Endorsements and fund raising are the capital that politicians use to their liking. Palin’s capital is high right now, so she is trying to shape the GOP to suit her 2012 presidential ambitions. If the candidates she backs do well, she is well positioned for the 2012 nomination. If her candidates flop, she is out of the running for 2012.

Here we go again! Two days in a row from the same ABC “News” “journalist” bashing conservatives in what purports to be a “news” story.
Yes, the Full Alinsky’s being done here! When you’ve got nothing, attack your opponent, marginalize, ridicule, demoralize!
What tripe. Any of the commenters here want to explain how massive socialization, huge new entitlements, overregulation and crippling taxation are going to “fix” our economy? You can’t because it’s a recipe for disaster which time and again has proven itself to be a recipe for disaster. But, hey, if Democrats and their cronies can steal enough revenues to make themselves rich, who cares, right?
Let’s avoid the real issues. Attack Palin, that’s the recipe for Democrat victory in November! Imagine, all three “major” networks running the same stories at the same time. That’s what I call “originality” in journalism. You guys are real good at vomiting DNC talking points. After all, what’s an Ivy League diploma for?
Yet another example of how the Ruling Class sends its twit “journalist” nabobs out to do the dirty work, hoping they’ll get invited to the “right” DC cocktail parties the next time.
I note also that the lefty Gallup Poll is trying to claim that conservatives and Tea Partiers are somehow “losing ground” these days. Yep, apply the Full Alinsky, then after a week or so of withering attacks on conservatives, let’s take a poll and see how it’s working.
So transparent. Can’t wait until November. Then we’ll see how many real voters (as opposed to derelicts, felons, dead people and illegals) actually buy into this garbage.

She’s a documented liar..as a critical care nurse, I believe she was despicable the way she lied about “death panels.” She was either too stupid to understand a simple concept regarding end-of-life-care or she was purposefully disseminating false information to scare people to coming to her side. Which was it John? Is she stupid, a liar, or both? She’s also one of the most mean-spirited people I’ve ever seen, and yet calls herself a Christian. She seems to follow NO Christian principles in her life. Did it ever occur to you, John, that the negative stories happen just because they are true? You should think about getting on some medication for your paranoia.

Ms. Palin is the classic cocktail party joke! Her winkin’, blinkin’ & noddin’ – coupled with a pitiful inability to communicate a coherent sentence – speaks volumes about who and what she is.
Beyond that, let’s not forget her serious problem with aging – acting like she’s a teenager. And, don’t forget her failure as a parent. Finally, don’t forget her decision to forsake her Alaska constituents and QUIT, just to stroke her ego. She sold out for 30 pieces of silver. Gee, isn’t there precedent for that – somewhere?
Ms. Palin is a role model for no one. She is a joke that has caused the global community to laugh hysterically. As happened during the G.W. Bush debacle, my European associates continue to ask: “What the h _ _ l are you Americans thinking?”
Tough to respond to that with anything but “On behalf of the U.S.A., I apologize!”

If you didn’t know: since 1978 more women vote than men. I am not a real big fan of Sarah Palin but I love how she drives the left insane. I have never seen so many desperate people trying to tear someone down even though she has proven to be much smarter than there Lord and Master Obama. It is funny to see all the media go crazy over everything she says, wears, does not say does not wear I mean the left is like on Med’s trying to control their foaming at the mouth every time she appears.
