After receiving his regular rounds of morning briefings, President Obama will meet today with President Leonel Fernandez of the Dominican Republic in the Oval Office.
"The United States enjoys a long and close relationship with the Dominican Republic and Dominicans have made important contributions to the United States and to the Americas," White House press secretary Robert Gibbs said in advance of the meeting, "The President looks forward to discussing a wide range of bilateral and hemispheric issues with President Fernandez as part of his on-going engagement with leaders from throughout the Americas on the most important issues facing people throughout the region."
After their closed-door Oval Office meeting, the two leaders will take questions briefly from reporters.

The president of what used to be the most powerful nation in the world–thinks people don’t like him because of his middle name.
In the campaign it was because he “looks funny”.
Just when you think Obama cannot get more childish and superficial.
Maybe it’s because Obama is simply not trustworthy. His word means nothing.

Obama is planning his third vacation since the Gulf spill.
Yerserday was his 9th time playing golf
since the spill.

Obama said he wouldn’t rest until the well was capped and the people on the gulf get their lives back.
This doesn’t include the WH celebrity concerts, sing-a-longs, and parties.
Or the overnight fundraisers in CA and Nevada. Sounds like rest to me.
