‘Top Line’ – Junior DeMints vs. Momma Grizzlies

ABC News’ Rick Klein reports: Sarah Palin has her pack of “Momma Grizzlies.” And Sen. Jim DeMint has his own flock of endorsed candidates – call them the “Junior DeMints.”

That got The Washington Post’s Dana Milbank thinking:

“I’m thinking there should be, like, a tag football match between the Mama Grizzlies and the Junior DeMints,” Milbank told us on ABC/Washington Post’s “Top Line” today. “There might be some overlap, though.”

We spun through a wacky week in politics with Milbank – touching on Sen. John Kerry’s shifting positions on whether he owes taxes on his yacht; the criminal charges filed against two prominent backers of the Swift Boat campaign against Kerry; plus Milbank’s forthcoming column on Glenn Beck.
