ABC’s Z. Byron Wolf reports:
Yesterday we took a look at some of the lengths to which endangered moderate and conservative Democrats are going to distance themselves from President Barack Obama and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, the national faces of their party.
Today, There’s a new and notable addition to this list.
Sen. Stephanie Herseth Sandlin has a new ad out today called “Flyover Country” in which she says that in Washington, “they look down from 30,000 feet and they don’t care about our agriculture, our 2nd amendment or our fiscally conservative values.
She says she “took on liberal leaders to protect our right to own guns.”
“No matter which party is in charge,” she says at the end of the ad, “I do what’s right for South Dakota”.
