Dem Congressman Called For Geithner to be Fired on 8/20
ABC's Z. Byron Wolf reports:
Turns out that House Minority Leader John Boehner’s call this week for Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner and others in the President’s economic team to be fired may not have been so splashy.
A Democratic Congressman beat Boehner to it by four days.
“Which of the President’s policies do I like the least,” says Periello in answer to a question.
“Well, I called for Secretary Geithner to be fired. I really don’t like the head of his economic team. I’ve been critical of them from the beginning.”
Periello’s made the comments at a town hall meeting August 20th, but edited video of the event was only today circulated by a Richmond-area Tea Party group.
Periello is in real trouble in November. First elected to the conservative district in 2008, his vote for the health reform bill got him plaudits from Washington Democrats, but has not gone over well in his district, although Periello has not shied away from town hall meetings.
While many Democrats in conservative districts have run ads opposing party leaders, Periello has a clever ad defending his vote in favor of the economic stimulus in 2009. While it doesn’t mention the stimulus by name, Periello is seen going throughout the district to places where he says he helped save jobs. He steps in cow dung at a dairy farm, visits a landfill and spills coffee on himself.
NOTE: Lest we forget, there were three Democrats (Byrd, Feingold and Harkin), who voted against his confirmation in the first place, along with Independent Bernie Sanders, who caucuses with Democrats and 30 Republicans.

Obama only hires liberals. To be a liberal you have to be a moron.. it’s the main requirement to get into the club.
So it doesn’t matter if they get fired or not. We are stuck with morons in the White House until 2012.

Small businesses are paralyzed by the “UNCERTAINTY” caused by the Obama Administration policies!!! —- Look at three major issues which effect the bottom line immensely with small business…. 1) The cost of health care…. going up, up, up with Obamacare… the bill creates 68 grant programs, 47 bureaucratic entities, 29 demonstration or pilot programs, six regulatory systems, six compliance standards and two entitlements… and so much is left to “administrators” to decide… uncertainty!!! —- 2) Financial Reform Bill… 243 NEW rules for business… 11 new agencies created… new power for the executive branch, with NO congressional or judicial checks and balances, the ability to take over private businesses!!! Scary stuff!! —- 3) TAXES….. Obama won’t come clean on his position concerning the Bush Tax Cuts!! — How can you expect any small businessman to HIRE when he doesn’t know if his taxes could go up 10%?????? —– The economy WON’T recover with this administration’s policies!!!!!!!

Dems have had congress since 2006 and still blame Bush for the dems non progress leadership. The dems purposely did not approve anything the last two years of Bush but money for the troops. They did it on purpose to make the reps look bad so the dems could win big. Now the shoe is on the other foot and we are going to kick some you know what this November and take back America from the socialists

The media, including ABC, is so invested in Obama that it just can’t address the heart of the matter.
The heart being the impending crisis of a national debt that no-one offers any plan to resolve.
A debt which at its current level just applying credit card minimum payment rules would require a 520 billion dollar payment in 2010.
To amortize the debt with payments of a half trillion dollars per year would also require 50+ years of balanced budgets.
But the media just can’t ask these hard questions. It just can’t do the math. Plus the media continues to act as water-boys for Obamacare which the CBO is shedding new light on it as a budget buster rather than the Rx for the deficit.
Let’s face it America we have been snookered and not many of us are willing to address the truth. It seems we are more comfortable with our heads in the sand.
Please do the math and rip Obama’s congress from his cold uncaring hands in November.
