Senators no longer are primarily accountable to the people of their state, but more so to the national political party to which they belong.

It is good to hear that Chuck Hagel is working with the President I wondered what happened to him — I always respected him and his views and was sorry to see him retire; but did understand that he was tired of banging his head against the wall of indifference.

“Chuck let me tell you what is going to happen to you now – if it hasn’t all ready (and I am sure it has). You will become the “joke” at all future tea party events.
