Israel and Palestine back to the table? Many challenges still remain.
Social security cuts debated as Dems woo voting seniors. But Obama "needs to be a better grief therapist," says one political scientist – because seniors don’t like "change."
GOP/Tea Party rift isn’t easy to patch.

What’s the point? As long as Hamas is around, there never will be peace. Unfortunately, the Palestian people have no one that has their best interest in mind. Everyone is fighting over them but no one is helping them. They live in slums. Arafat stole all the money intended for them and now Hamas and others take it. There being used as pawns against Israel.

Here we go again. I’ll give it 24 hours before the Palestinians walk out because they couldn’t get everything they want. What a waste of time and energy.

After 50 yrs. does it matter whether Israel and Palestinians talk?
Absolutely not. The Palestinians have rejected peace every single time, and they will continue to do so.

LOL…LOL…So what??? Some “right wing extremist NUT” on either side of the ledger will “do something outrageously stupid’ and derail the peace process. That is why it is known as tghe “Vicious Circle” over there. It is what happens when “right wing power sources” rule the roost. Think maybe our nation…better pay better “attention” to that “phenomenon”?

CND FOX, don’t worry according to the administration Iran will have a nuclear bomb in ONE year, that will take care of Israel and the Palestinians, plus the middle east.

Yep…you are definitely a “member” of the “25%” voter block. LOL…LOL

Before the mandate that established Israel, Jordan and Syria the Jews living in the land were called Palestinians and the Arabs living in the land were called Arabs.
The Arabs were told to leave so that Israel could be decimated with the promise that they could return to the land. But the Lord intervened and Israel was not decimated so the Arab refugees became victims of the Arab plot.
The leaders of the so-called Palestinians and especially Hamas do not want peace they want Israel forced off the land. The civilian population suffers at the hands of its leaders.

Isn’t this article living proof of what is wrong with our country? A “substantive” topic and only seven (now eight) comments. And people get “upset” at me for constantly talking about the “dumbed down, shallow electorate”? LOL…LOL

In the 2008 election more senior citizens voted for John McCain than for Barack Obama. In the 2010 election both Democrats and Republicans will be fighting for the senior vote. People over 65 are undoubtedly worried about the future of Social Security and Medicare but they are concerned too about the ballooning federal deficit, on which those programs have a strong bearing, and about their grandchildren being burdened with onerous taxes.
My feeling is that seniors trust the Dmeocrats more than Republicans on Social Security and Republicans more than Democrats on deficit reduction. Quite a few fear that the new health care plan could mean a reduction in Medicare services.

For the past 65 years, these “peace talks” have been cursed, because they have failed to invite and include:
a) The Christian Coalition, specifically the Vatican, the Greek & Russian Orthodox, and other Christian leaders.
b) The PLO, the PA, and their predecessors were communists atheists and are always invited to the table.
c) Samara/Judea/and West Bank have been under Islamic dominance for 10 centuries, before the post World War II Israel.
d) Now what? The archaeologists discovered these “philistines” came from Greece and they refuse to go back. Is this the Greek province you want to re-establish? How? What’s your vision? What laws will apply? What form of government? Citizenship with Israel? We need to see a formal proposal.
e) Everybody knows the Sefardim-Fonici are alive and kicking in the New World and are the legitimate heirs to the Assyrian throne. Has the Israeli government been formally approached to re-establish a constitutional monarchy?

Both Israel and Palestine, and the entire Moslem-Arab world, and the entire world itself for that matter, better straighen up and fly right and use the Economic Rent-of-Land-Value Tax System as I suggest and propose! Thats the only way that area of the world is going to have any peace at all and everyone in the Near and Middle East can finally sleep at night, and all of us too! Geez what a to-do! Such a Mish-gass! Such a big to-do over such a small piece of land! It doesnt belong to the Israelis only, nor for that matter to the Moslem-Arabs only! It belongs to both! or it doensnt belong to any-one! Besides, everyone living in the Middle East now is going to die sooner-or later, so they both better take the chance, and make peace and nice NOW!!!
