President Obama: ‘No Regrets’ On Jumping Into Debate Over New York City Islamic Center

ABC News’ Karen Travers reports:

Six days after he first weighed in on the debate over the proposed Islamic center in New York City, President Obama said today that he has “no regrets” over his comments. 

After he concluded a town-hall style event in Columbus, Ohio, Obama was asked by ABC News’ David Kerley if he regrets jumping in.

“The answer is no regrets,” Obama said.
