[1] No tax or fiscal proposals from either party are credible until they contain REAL tax reform which includes simplification. Both parties are in bed with lobbying interests, especially the GOP. They bankrupted us in their last reign; they will do so again.
[2] The promise to certify constitutionality of any legislation is ridiculous. The key safeguard of our system of government is separation of powers. Determination of the constitutionality of legislative enactments is the province of the judiciary.
[3] Overall, the proposals are more of the same, merely sales puffing.

Boehner:: I pledge to help all my wealthy constituents to help widen the gap between the wealthy and the lower classes. I pledge to stop any control over big corporations, so that you can make unlimited profits off the backs of low paid workers. I pledge to protect the insurance industry against sick people, and to give more control the the insurance company death squads to decide who they will insure, and cut out when needed. I pledge to stop all stimulus money from going into making highways or bridges safer, while spending money on greedy middle class construction workers. (They would just waste it on stupid things like paying their mortgages, or buying new houses, cars, and other things that would generate business, and get the economy back on their feet, making the Democrats look good. To my other supporters. (My puppets) I pledge to fight Socialism, and promise to prove that the President was born in Kenya. I also pledge to place more governmental control over womens bodies, and to stop any progress in stem cell research. WE WILL BRING BACK THE BUSH YEARS! REMEMBER 2008!!!

So….who is going to pay for those rich guys getting the tax breaks? I think they want to get their hands on social security. Thats how Reagon did it….SOCIAL SECURITY. I have paid in all my life to social security. Its a good program except for the crooks using it to balance the budget. I have an idea. TAKE SOCIAL SECURITY OUT OF THE GENERAL BUDGET. If you cut benefits again to pay for that tax break for the rich, Lets ALL quit paying taxes. I REFUSE to pay any more taxes to help the rich. That is about all I ever expect to get back in my lifetime. WE DONT NEED MORE MISSLES. CUT MILITARY WASTE. QUIT MAKING WAR.

Now is the time to Just say NO to Return of Repbulican errors the last time they pointed us to the current start of debt if they stick us with the rich mans taxes added to that debt then we have a deaper hole to dig out of.
Just say NO to Rand Paul and his anti law agenda the man may be a fair eye doctor but thats for splinters not beams and hes trying to pull a redwood out of your eyes when its little more than a speck of sawdust.
this Agenda will put us in worse condtion than the day after wall street rained men from the top floors.in 1929.

Some of what skinniib says is very telling and to the point. The 1994 “contract with America” went nowhere. but I am glad the republicans got specific. They are so sure of victory that they betrayed their real feelings about everything and especially about Obama. The sheep are bound to follow, but I dont believe it is enough to win back congress.

Eliminate deficits + lower taxes = repeal Social Security and Medicare. It’s just a matter of simple math, there’s no way around it.
Is that what people really want? Of course not, and that’s not what the GOP intend to do. They’re lying through their teeth about fiscal responsibility. They’ll reduce taxes and then blame Democrats when the deficit continues to skyrocket.
What I really want to know is, on what basis do Republicans claim to have fiscal credibility? What’s the last Republican administration that -didn’t- rack up huge deficits? Eisenhower?
Democrats haven’t been angels either, but for decades they have had consistently lower deficits, and even a few surpluses in there. Over the last twenty years, Republicans have added five times as much to the national debt as Democrats.

I’m glad we’re finally putting a plan in place and making a national promise to the American people.
To sell the idea, we need to find a better way to simplify this so that it’s easier to get it out.
How can we take these points and sell them to the American people? A little sparkle would go a long way to sell this to the people that don’t really follow politics. We need to simply show them how they benefit.
Great start! Let’s find out how to sell it now.
