Obama doesn’t care about what businesses and Americans need, he only cares about what he and the left want.

Well Sigmonde unless this is just another poorly disguised attempt to tell us that the left and Americans are two different things we’ll reserve the right to decide for ourselves whether what we want is what we really need thank you.

Do you want to return to the policies of the previous administration? Do the democrats mean like less than 5% unemployment, a manageable deficit, less government and such? Or do we want the current administration’s closed door conferences, czars gone wild, rewarding of political cronies disguised as stimulus, and the government intervention in the free markets?
Do you think this is likely the worst VP & Presidential appointment ever??
Pres Barry is not a leader; he is a Partisan hack (biased – with emotional allegiance to liberals and muslims),
a Community Organizer and a Campaigner. Biden is simply a career politician with zero private industry experience just like his boss.

Ohio Lt. Gov. Lee Fisher, the Democrats’ candidate for an open Ohio Senate seat, said he wanted a job-creation tax credit. “I also wish we had seen all these proposals much sooner,” he said. And Sen. Michael Bennet (D, Colo.), who is locked in a difficult campaign, said Wednesday, “I will not support additional spending in a second stimulus package.”
RUN DEMOCRATS RUN FROM OBAMA….hows that stimulus working now?

I agree with the President. The Republicans should lay out the specifics of their platform and details of their proposed approaches, and a mature debate should be held.
So far it’s just Republicans sniping from the sidelines with name calling, insults, fear mongering, posturing and baloney.
Let’s see the specifics of the Republican proposals – and let’s have a mature debate.

“Not with a bang but a whimper…”
When I listened to the president’s most recent two speeches (largely the same speech delivered twice), I’m reminded of those lines, and of the title of the TS Eliot poem from which they come: THE HOLLOW MEN.

Democrats want tax cuts too, at least they say they do right before the elections. The question is will they still want tax cuts after their elected? Are will they again want raises, raise taxes and keep spending, etc. I don’t want to take the chance myself. I’ve seen what they have done to this wonderful country in their control for the last two years. Had enought!

My wife owns a small business in Alaska. If we are able to write off
100% of Capital expense we will invest in a new building for the business. Think of all jobs related to constructing that building. We greatfully thank the President for this opportunity to expand our business, and provide much needed jobs to our local economy, not to mention this will increase the local tax revenue base. This is a 1000% improvement over what the Party of Just Say No is offering. The Democrats have our vote in November, all the way down the ballot.

It is a fact that the former WH budget director Peter Orzag recently proposed to delay the removal of Bush tax cut until much later. Furthermore, the former WH Economic council director Christina Romer has recently coauthored an article together with her husband stating that 1% increase of tax in terms of GDP will result in 3 % GDP decrease in nation’s economic growth.
