The Presidential Planner
ABC News' Sunlen Miller reports:
President Obama will spend his day today behind closed doors.
In the morning, the president will meet with his national security team in the Situation Room and in the afternoon he will receive his regular Economic Daily Briefing in the Oval Office. Both meetings are private and closed to press.

Darn!
I thought by now he’d have realized he needed an extra special Economic Briefing, the regular ones aren’t working out too well.

Economic briefing….we’re in deep crap. It ain’t working. Let’s find something positive we can spin to the press in the next few days.

Security briefing…..Mr. President, please make up your mind as soon as possible where you’re vacationing next. We need to establish security operations. BTW, Michelle wants to take the kids to Tahiti.

All of Barry’s sycophants have been missing from the comments lately. It’s kind of eerie. Like the way animals scatter before a storm.
Maybe they are in closed door meetings too.

WHAT HAPPENED TO THE PLEDGES FROM OBAMA, PELOSI, REID, BIDEN, AND THE OTHER LYING LIBERALS.
I MISS “W”!
Experience is vital and also dealing with issues and problems. Some people have charismatic personalities and ponderous words, but are disasters at implementing solutions and fixing the problems. In other words, the package looks good on the outside, but the character and the content on the inside is sadly lacking.
I will never forget the way people critisized George Bush and made fun of his vocabulary, but he was a leader — especially when we were hit on 9/11, and he ‘united’ the Country and went after the enemy.
President Bush is a patriot and a lover of Freedom and he was unfairly wronged. He also served many years as governor of Texas which gave him a lot of experience in dealing with real problems and budgets.
Presidents should put the people before themselves and their legacies.
The Obama administration has no problem governing ‘against’ the will of the American people. They will do or say anything to stay in power. We need to replace the liberals in Congress as soon as possible.

“- especially when we were hit on 9/11, and he ‘united’ the Country and went after the enemy.
You mean when he fumbled away going after Al Queda in Afghanistan in favor of invading Iraq?
Iraq was not part of 9/11.
I know that is a lie that some dim bulb right wingers cling to but its not true.

“Security briefing…..Mr. President, please make up your mind as soon as possible where you’re vacationing next.”
Slate”The revelation came this morning, when CIA Director George Tenet was on the stand. Timothy Roemer, a former Democratic congressman, asked him when he first found out about the report from the FBI’s Minnesota field office that Zacarias Moussaoui, an Islamic jihadist, had been taking lessons on how to fly a 747. Tenet replied that he was briefed about the case on Aug. 23 or 24, 2001.
Roemer then asked Tenet if he mentioned Moussaoui to President Bush at one of their frequent morning briefings. Tenet replied, “I was not in briefings at this time.” Bush, he noted, “was on vacation.” He added that he didn’t see the president at all in August 2001. During the entire month, Bush was at his ranch in Texas. “You never talked with him?” Roemer asked. “No,” Tenet replied. By the way, for much of August, Tenet too was, as he put it, “on leave.”"
Aug 6th Presidential Daily Briefing
“A clandestine source said in 1998 that a bin Laden cell in New York was recruiting Muslim-American youth for attacks.
We have not been able to corroborate some of the more sensational threat reporting, such as that from a —- service in 1998 saying that Bin Laden wanted to hijack a U.S. aircraft to gain the release of “Blind Sheikh” Omar Abdel Rahman and other U.S.-held extremists.
Nevertheless, FBI information since that time indicates patterns of suspicious activity in this country consistent with preparations for hijackings or other types of attacks, including recent surveillance of federal buildings in New York.
The FBI is conducting approximately 70 full-field investigations throughout the U.S. that it considers bin Laden-related. CIA and the FBI are investigating a call to our embassy in the UAE in May saying that a group or bin Laden supporters was in the U.S. planning attacks with explosives”
You would think right wingers would be loathe to bring up vacation and security briefings but I guess the convenient political amnesia is ever present.

“He also served many years as governor of Texas which gave him a lot of experience in dealing with real problems and budgets.”
Bush served 5 years as Governor of Texas, a “weak” Governor position in a state where much of the power resides with the legislature.

Interesting you’d project that on to Ryan C when he points out the facts, and you all keep repeating talking points and hearing what you want to hear.
I find myself thinking of a Bob Dylan song called Masters of War:
“Let me ask you one question
Is your money that good
Will it buy you forgiveness
Do you think that it could
I think you will find
When your death takes its toll
All the money you made
Will never buy back your soul.”

What you should have said is
Interesting you’d project that on to Ryan C when he spins the facts,
