The Presidential Planner

ABC News' Sunlen Miller reports: President Obama wakes up in Des Moines this morning and will meet with the Clubb family at their home.

Afterwards the president will hold a backyard discussion on the challenges currently facing the middle class with approximately 70 neighbors from the area. Governor Chet Culver and Mayor Frank Cownie of Des Moines will also join the event. The president will then travel to Richmond, Virginia, for the last stop of his "Moving America Forward" tour, where he will meet with a local Richmond family at the Southampton Recreation Association before hosting a discussion on the economy with families from the area. In the evening, the President will return to Washington, D.C. after his four-state three-day tour.

Hey Sunlen, could you find out if any Conservative Middle Class Neighbors will be among the 70? Will it be in line with the percentages of Conservatives in the Des Moines area? Also it would be fun to know the political persuasion of whoever gets to ask questions.
Oh and one more thing.
Find out if the questions are approved before hand.

Sunlen,
Could someone ask if the Commander in Chief is in charge of issuing military orders, or if as Judge Lind says orders are from the Pentagon therefor any eligibility questions regarding President Obama are “irrelevant”, and might be “embarrassing”? Who is in charge of the military, civilian leadership,or the Pentagon? Please review Judge Lind’s ruling and ask the President. If the Pentagon is the “Commander in Chief” what prevents America from becoming a military State?

pauldia, I’m lauging at the headline stealers. Right wingers are soooo unoriginal.
“Sarah Palin is Now As Popular As BP”
Posted on September 22, 2010 (main point, a PPP survey revealed that 65% of undecided voters disapprove of Palin, while only 17% approve of her)
Now today, right wing rags have stolen the headline to use for it Pelosi. Hacks.

“Actually candidates supported by Palin are winning”
Her record is about 50-50 right now thru the primaries.
She got boo’d by the Dancing with the Stars audience.

“Could someone ask if the Commander in Chief is in charge of issuing military orders, or if as Judge Lind says orders are from the Pentagon therefor any eligibility questions regarding President Obama are “irrelevant”, and might be “embarrassing”?”
Embarrassment is a legal concept dealing with the separation of powers of the executive, legislative and judiciary.
And yes eligibility questions are irrelevant to whether orders are legal.
Just like when people saying the Iraq War or Gulf War or Vietnam War was illegal and therefore they did not have to follow orders were wrong, so is Lakin.
“Who is in charge of the military, civilian leadership,or the Pentagon?”
The military is a hierarchy.
The President sets the agenda then the military carries it out as best they can.
“Please review Judge Lind’s ruling and ask the President. If the Pentagon is the “Commander in Chief” what prevents America from becoming a military State?”
Perhaps you should read her ruling versus what World Nut Daily tells you.
Its really sad the Lakin was convinced by a bunch of birther to be a martyr.
They convinced him to disobey orders because that would give him standing to question Obama’s eligibility.
His commanding officer when told of his plan pleaded with him to consult experienced JAG officers.
He ignored that advice which would have told him that eligibility questions would be irrelevant to his missing a movement ordered by his superior officer.
The worst part is the military may throw the book at him given the theatrics his legal team has planned.
He’s gonna get prison time while birthers make money off him.

Being president can’t be all that much of a demanding job. Our president is absent 1/2+ the time due to his constant campaigning for the next election. BTW how much is America paying for that?
Is that akin to forcing everyone to contribute?
Who’s making all those decisions – the Czars?

i don’t know why you lefties make fun of sarah palin when she has more experience then obama. he never did anything but teach his move on cronies how to disrupt meetings! anyone that disagrees with you lefties is considered a nut because you don’t want to admit that facts are more important than ideas.

I don’t want my tax dollars supporting Obama’s continuing campaign for the Dems!!!!!!!!!!!
BOOOOOO forcing America to provide transportation, protection, food, lodging and more for the benefit of the dems is unfairly representing the American tax payers!!!!!

“i don’t know why you lefties make fun of sarah palin when she has more experience then obama”
ROFLMAO!
I think over a year as President alone gives him more experience than a half term Governor to say nothing of his experience as a legislator on the US & IL Senates.

Ryan C: “She (Palin) got boo’d by the Dancing with the Stars audience.”
I know how important celebrity, pop culture, and Palin-hating is to Democrat politics, but she was never boo’d. I know you and the rest of Democrats really wished she was, but she wasn’t. Just another Democrat dream based on lies. Look it up.

“I know how important celebrity, pop culture, and Palin-hating is to Democrat politics, but she was never boo’d.”
She was.
The show’s desperation to cover that up saying the boos were for the scores while they soak Palin for ratings is funny.
Watch their new video, the audience wildly cheers each score of 8, the boos come at the very end as the host moves to interview Palin.
Its like Forbes “fact checking” the Dinesh DSouza excrement. Not really interested in fact checking so much as preserving their reputation as a organization dedicated to serious journalism.

“…she was never boo’d”
Correct, in spite of the lies from the left. In fact the audience cheered Palin.

“Correct, in spite of the lies from the left. In fact the audience cheered Palin.”
No lies from the left as everyone heard the boos (which were kind of scattered and hardly thunderous) both in the original broadcast and the raw footage offered by ABC.
ABC is in full cover up mode to keep their ratings stunt happy and content.
ABC claims it was anger at scores but watch the raw footage. The audience cheers heartily as each judge announces their score of 8 (out of a possible 10) after the last judge is finished there is a brief pause and then some boos as the host moves to interview Palin.
She got booed just like she got booed at the hockey game.
It happens.
Not surprising for someone with her unfavorables, a little surprising for a TV audience (versus a sports crowd) as the producers of those shows are adamant about cheering everyone that appears on their show (as someone who has sat in on two or three live audience shows).
The real story here is ABC’s weird cover-up. Was it necessary? Why the drama?

There is no real story here at all.

Ryan C: “ABC is in full cover up mode to keep their ratings stunt happy and content.”
Are you saying negativity directed at Palin could result in lower ratings? Hmmm . . . I guess her “unfavorables” aren’t as unfavorable as some might think.
Back to your theory . . . so, ABC and the rest of the media are covering up boos directed at Sarah Palin to protect ABC’s ratings? Using history as a guide, liberals have watched shows and whole networks sink over the years due to their liberal bias. I doubt one boo would set them back much. It sure is fun watching liberals scramble over this, though — especially during this election season.

“Are you saying negativity directed at Palin could result in lower ratings”
No, I am saying that DWTS is using Palin as a ratings stunt and that does not work if Palin’s fans decide the show is mean to her or some other nonsense (for evidence, the show in question had higher ratings than the opener and I would not doubt that it had to do with Bristol doing her going home show and Palin in the audience)
To be honest, I would not be surprised if Palin called the producers up and threw a tantrum, threatening to facebook about the incident unless they made it “right”.
“so, ABC and the rest of the media are covering up boos directed at Sarah Palin to protect ABC’s ratings”
Rest of the media only repeated what ABC said.
Seriously what was the whole point of the raw footage for the silly issue of Palin getting boo’d by a few audience members other than to make Palin and her fans happy?
View the raw footage yourself, the audience cheers each score of 8, then boos as the host moves to interview Palin.

So then, you really don’t know and are just making your typical progressive lying crap up.
