‘Loud, Tacky, and Rude’: Nicolle Wallace’s Revenge on Sarah Palin?
Email"18 Acres" by Nicolle Wallace gets my vote for best political novel of the year. It's fun and filled with realistic details about what life is like in the White House.
Makes sense — Wallace served both as the White House communications director under President George W. Bush and as senior advisor to the McCain-Palin campaign.
You'll remember that many reports said Sarah Palin blamed Wallace for that wardrobe flap. So did Wallace get a little light revenge in "18 Acres" by having a VP candidate who is "loud, tacky, and rude"?
I asked her about it on "GMA" this morning — take a look:

Those of you who honestly think Palin is capa le of being President either are blind or haven’t done serious research into her REAL record in Alaska. It’s pathetic that you would actually support someone who is not at all a fiscal conservative and who quit her job due to pressure and money. Stop making excuses for her. You sound so uneducated and silly supporting such an unserious person.

Nicole Wallace is a class act. Unlike mean, vindictive phony Sarah Palin. Sarah is a fraud! If you talked to Alaskans or read/watched shows other than Fox, you would know this. She is a hypocrite, and lies nonstop. How can people be so blind! And no I’m not a lefty, but with the intelligence level of the right dropping, maybe I should consider it.

I didn’t like George”S” when he was Clintons man and as soon as Clinton got busted he jumped ship like rats do a sinking ship.Seniority means nothing, pigmentation does.Robin was there first but he’s taken over.This whole thing with Michael Vick,he was lynched in the media,served his time,now he has to be on all of these biased national programs grovelling.Get our previous president and those thieves ,liars and killers,WMD my ass.This country isn’t going to hell,it’s just inches away.Sarah Palin,PUHLEEZ

Nicole Wallace is a class act. She probably realized after working with Palin that Palin is uneducated, is mean, petty and a lier. But they were stuck with her and had to defend her. When Palin failed, she blamed everything that went wrong and not on herself. Does Palin really think that she is smart and intelligent? Palin is a moron, and vindictive. Its ok when she lashes out but noone else can. I will never forgive McCain for hoisting this woman upon us. He should be ashamed of himself. What a moron he is. You lost McCain you idiot! You lost because of this hillbilly that you knew nothing about. She came with a son who was in jail and a knocked up daughter. And you still thought she was great. Where are your moral McCain???? Palin has no family values, she is uneducated. A definition of a good mother is how she prepares her children for life ahead. Track Palin HAD to go into the military or go to jail, he vandalized school buses, Bristol was pregnant and arressted for underage drinking, Willow was in jail for vandalizing houses, Toad had DUI and never finished HS. Palin slept around on Toad. Trip never sees his mother. Palin, go home, read a book and take care of your moron family. What a mess you are. What’s scary about Palin’s ascendance in politics, or it should be anyway, is that millions of people could so easily be duped by a blatantly incurious, grossly uninformed, phony. And then when you consider that she is also vindictive, divisive and dishonest it leaves one scratching their head as to how she could possibly get this far. What’s worse is that when Palin was picked and subsequently, there should have been vocal and sustained outrage in the media for obvious reasons, but instead the criticisms were muted and veiled as if people were too polite or somehow cowed to say what many of us were thinking, if not right away, then certainly over time…..that she was wholly unsuited in every possible way, intellectually, emotionally, ethically, to run for senior office. It’s as if all of that somehow just fell through the cracks and she was entertained as a serious candidate instead of the farcical one that she is. It was like a really bad “reality” show that somehow morphed into reality.
