"18 Acres" by Nicolle Wallace gets my vote for best political novel of the year. It's fun and filled with realistic details about what life is like in the White House.
Makes sense — Wallace served both as the White House communications director under President George W. Bush and as senior advisor to the McCain-Palin campaign.
You'll remember that many reports said Sarah Palin blamed Wallace for that wardrobe flap. So did Wallace get a little light revenge in "18 Acres" by having a VP candidate who is "loud, tacky, and rude"?
