look..... all I know is that Miller is the people's choice, not the GOP choice. It is odd to me that in the Great State of Alaska, home of the original risk takers, the true environmentalists, that they would ever want Murkowski to represent.
Listen.... I am from CA and I hate it here. My husband and I are relocating in a year. We have looked at Alaska as a quiet giant... a leader that takes no nonsense from anyone. The Alaskans are everything we look up to. And for the life of me, I can't understand WHY Joe Miller has not taken the hearts and minds of fellow Alaskans. Because he is a leader, and CARES about his state. So maybe I just don't get it. Maybe a legacy baby like Murkoski gets the big votes just because....
What the hell do I know, still living in CA., right?
But I swear.... Could you send Miller our way? Because we NEED as many Millers as we can get across this country!!!!
But, having texted this.... I think Miller won!.....I think that he has the vote of the great state of Alaska......
And good for you guys!!!!!
So keep counting those votes.......
Alaska..... you are awesome.......
God Bless your great state!!!

Voter intent is voter intent anything else is DISENFRANCHISEMENT. This isn't a spelling contest. This is an election. Anyone who wants to throw votes out are very cold people. I'm a democrat so I have no bias either way who wins.

"Voter intent" - what if a voter wanted their vote to count the day after the election, or the week after the election? They intended to vote, but got busy? They DISENFRANCHISE themselves. If Murkowski wished to run a tenuous write-in campaign, and circumvent clearly state AK election law re: write-in votes, why did she run so many commercials and all about how to properly spell her name and vote for her? Because the law matters. We may not like this law...then change it...but if we're caught speeding, and we think it's a speed trap - tough - we pay the fine and we move to change what we see as a speed trap. People can't just change the law in the middle of the election!

TTwo:....If we allow elected or aappointed officals to re-interpret/change the law, where does it stop??? The Alaska law is clear the name has to be listed the same....let's just uphold the law!!

Voter intent is very important ... just because someone has poor penmanship should not discount their vote.
I myself know when I am in a hurry or tired my writing gets sloppy.
If it looks like Lisa Murkowski then it is. If it looks like Lena Monkeyface, it itsn't k!!
