Muslims from across India have downplayed the hype surrounding US President Barack Obama’s visit this week, saying they did not expect him to do anything to improve the condition of Muslims in India or abroad. It is probably not costing YOU anything. From the disrespect you show this President you must be on the bottom of the barrel.

For those proclaiming Fox #1. The #1 coffee in the world comes from South America. The reason it is so good is that animals eat the beans, then digest, and pass them. Fox news is similar. First a news story poorly unchecked written in India, then a news blog or hack journalist reads it and proclaims it has true. Then Fox News sells it to you.
You can’t make this stuff up.

After reading most of the so-called comments on this story (something I try to avoid), I am once again annoyed and even a little bit embarrassed facing the fact that this is what political discourse in our country has fallen to.
Conservatives proclaiming FOX News is #1, and therefore the best thing ever. Liberals grabbing for the nearest insult to vault back. And a few wierdos who still cling to conspiracy theories.
But after reading most of the comments (generally conservative-leaning) I find the thought that strikes me hardest is that non of you seem to have a life. You folks need to get away from your computers and go to a park or something. Spend time with your family or friends. RELAX. And I mean it when I say this: We are not enemies, but friends, and thought tensions may have strained they cannot break the bonds which unite us. (20 points to whoever knows the quote)

1. Our volcano is not Republican. He is not angry. He is doing his duty fertilizing our island. For all. Rich and poor. Equal. Is that mean our volcano communist ? oh noooo !!
2. It will be better to sacrifies right-wing morons who believe in conspiracy theory. Save the world some oxygen that can be better used for more sane person.

I have to be honest.
I dont like our current politicians on the right or the left. But, if the pres can get us some additional trade-as in-those countries buy some goods from us-I think that would be a good thing.
But, we will have to wait and see a few months to a few years down the road- if his trip was worth it. That is when they finally disclose how much it cost the US taxpayers and what we actually get back from it. ROI?

Obama is actually in India with 250 US corporate executives including reps from GE and Boeing securing 10 billion in trade as of his first day which may climb to 50 billion by the end of his term. Which means he is organizing corporate America to do business abroad so they can create jobs domestically. The cost of his trip is a reflection of him traveling with these executives and he has already made back the money 10 fold before he returns. This is the only way the USA is going to get out of the recession. The fact is that you can’t send racists to these countries because they won’t do business with you. Around the world we know that there are some smart Americans ( that is why we invite Obama) but we also know there are some very backward people in America too. Who we won’t invite into our country’s. Sorry that’s the fact.

For those of you commenting from other countries, America does still have a high percentage of very ignorant people and they have been particularly vile and vulgar in the past two years. It may seem as though that is America, but it is not. As it is with any boor, they are loud, louder, and loudest and they have no boundaries, no sense of proprity or decency. They are the same who eat like animals, burp loudly in public, and whose every other word is offensive. They thrive on little to no education and view those who are educated with disdain. Many of us love and respect our President. He has been our Advocate In Chief, and passed so many legislations that impact the quality of life for all of us and he truly loves being with the people at home and the people in your countries, which is why his opponents hate it when he travels outside the White House or to other countries.

You know what we need. We need the DC crowd to cut spending. Starting from firings of the Federal level employees. Downsize every single department to Nov 2008 headcounts. Yes, the same level of headcounts when the American people elected Barack Obama as President. Then cut the budgets of EVERY SINGLE Federal department to Jan 2009 level. Yes, spend not one dime more than when Obama sworn into office. Then cut all the unemployment benefit extensions. No more of the BS about out of the job market for 99 weeks and still collecting the benefits. 52 weeks should be the max. Anyone who’s out for a job and sit home up to 99 weeks to collect the benefits from the taxes of OTHER WORKING PEOPLE is obscene. We want to be a compassionate nation, we don’t want to cut people off when they need help. But 99 weeks!!! Get that, 99 Weeks…you can have two full terms of pregnancies during that period. All these 99′ners, tell them, enough already. 52 weeks is the max. Then onto medicare, medicaid, social security, time for means testing measures. Does it make sense to the society to pay the medicare cost of Bill Gates Sr.? seriously. Washington doesn’t need more money, they need to cut spending. Starting by cutting the headcounts of all federal agencies, congressional staff etc will be a good start.

The government just doesn’t seem to get the fact that the country is bankrupt and in a deep recession. The are addicted to big spending and continue running up huge deficits that are just not sustainable. Now, I hope the message that Obama got yesterday will have some impact on this guys spending addiction, but I doubt that it will.
Today he and about 3000 of his entourage are leaving on a trip to Mumabi, India. They are renting all 500 and some rooms of the Taj Mahal hotel. That trip will cost the US Taxpayers 200 million dollars per day. This trip could end up costing over 1 billion dollars.
That is not only insane to me it’s criminal. The country is broke and can’t afford this kind of imperial extravagance, yet King and Queen Obama and his court, seemingly have to take this trip. Why? What purpose does it serve? None except a lavish trip for his and her highness.
Instead of recognizing that the people in the US are suffering and hurting and the country is in deep financial trouble, they go gallivanting around the world the like modern day French royalty of the past and tell the people to eat cake. It is disgusting, disgraceful and disrespectful to the American people.
The storming of the US Bastille started on Nov 2, 2010 and will culminate when we through these corrupt and contemptible imperialists criminals out on their ears in 2012 or impeach them before. How much money we spent on bailouts, union pensions etc etc and what do we get? 10% unemployment? And this president is going to India, of all places. Does he know India is the #1 country for American corporations to outsource the jobs? Or does he even care?

No one would buy a Harley with a made in India stamp on it. It is a fiasco for Harley to go offshore. If people want to buy a foreign, they would get one made by the Japanese before anything made in Mumbai, India. Would you drive one of those Tata Motors here in the US? If you think the Yugo was a joke or the logo for cheap, badly made stuff, try a Tata car if you get a chance, I have..
