Admittedly, both are disturbing, but it is apparent that the largest form of wasteful spending can arise from the Shadowy Campaign Money offered by the greedy interest group.
And Earmarks accounted for about $16 billion, less than 1 percent, of federal spending in 2010, small potatoes in contrast to Bush-era tax cuts for the wealthiest Americans
2. The reps along with Big Business bought this past midterm election.
The structure that the last champion is authorized to pick the next match winner .
The ruling that allowed Corporate money to back Political Candidates destroyed the very fabric of the Elections and Americans are paying dearly for it.

Has Washington lost its hearing? Do they not listen to the people? I guess not! They returned to the same conduct that they have displayed before the mid-term election, total disregard of the voters’ wishes! Are they deliberately trying to destroy America? Are they stupid? They listen to their party, not the people! They must be replaced with people who understand the gravity of their actions! We cannot afford the price of their actions! They must go!

It’s a shame that people think earmarks are the problem… they are a ‘distraction’. Earmarks are a small (and necessary) drop in the bucket compared to the massive costs that will be incurred due to the extension of the “Bush tax cuts”… one of (if not the) largest financial missteps in American history.
Why won’t we learn from our mistakes?

Any member of congress who submits any earmarks, regardless, from either party, should be run out of office, I mean, immediately, not next election, now! The American people are fed up with they way things are done in Washington and they want it stopped right now! Congressional spending is the reason we are in this trouble, they put us here, not big business or the taxpayers! They control the spending! America is declining and the congress is responsible! We need people to represent the people, not a political party!

They need to eliminate all earmarks no matter who they are for. If they pass this and leave the earmarks in then I say all names be attatched to each earmark and that it be published for all to see. In the future any earmark presented should be made public and voted upon on the floor.They wont be as quick to spend it if they are out in the open having to defend the pet projects. They say 8 billion is no big deal? I say it is.

Hypocrits are on both sides, we need to vote more of them out. Get rid of the earmarks! Pass a clean bill, something we can read. If by Saturday so what. Let the federal government shut down for a few weeks. You’ll find out we don’t need most of the pencil pushers.

Amazing how ABC and Matthew Jaffe fail to report that Republican Mitch McConnell is one of the biggest “earmarkers” in the bill. Hypocrisy much? I’m not surprised the Republicans would try to get away with such brazen hypocrisy. I’m also no longer shocked that our illustrious journalists allow them to continually get away with it.
