How about stopping pensions in most that are higher than the wage earning. Control what you are asking, work with the UNION”S. And have the UNION’s revise what they get paid, along with what you are being paid.
How come after four year of Federal Service you can retire when most Federal Civil Employee’s work 20 to 50 years and still only receive a small percentage of their total earnings.
WHAT IS WRONG IS CONGRESS’S PENSION, HOUSE OF REP’S NEED TO CLEAN HOUSE THEIR OWN SPENDING TO SHOW HOW IT IS DONE….CLEAN UP YOUR ACT FIRST AND PAY YOUR FAIR SHARE–THEN WORK WITH THE UNIONS TO ASSIST THE REST OF US.
CONGRESS PAY YOUR FAIR SHARE FIRST, MOST OF US MAKE LESS THAN 90,000.00 A YEAR, AND MOST ARE UNDER 20,000. WHY ARE YOU PASSING JUDGEMENT WHEN YOU DO NOT START WITH YOUR PAYMENT AND TAXES….

Our wages are less than they were 10 years ago…all necessities such as energy, food, clothes, housing and fuel has Skyrocketed. The republicans are waging a War on the Working people in this country. We are already paying for 2 unnecessary WARS they “created” for their “no-bid” cronies. It’s is time for a Revolution…and NOT the kind Based on the RACE of a President. We are all in the same BOAT if you’re the working poor. There’s no more Middle Class. Rich and Poor….the Rich will passed their wealth on to their children, who will STILL be talking this sh! the Republicans are talking today. Nothing Changes.

Since the Republicans want to cut everything for the middle class and the poor, I recommend that the salaries for all senators and house of representatives members be cut by 50%. Also discontinue their health care coverage (insurance)and their retirement. Let them buy insurance the way they want the middle class and poor to buy it. Let them save for their retirement the way they want the middle class and poor to save for their retirement. Cut their travel budgets and other perks they get. And make it a crime for them to accept money from lobbyists and private organizations.

You DEMS, Wake and understand that your are essentially a party led by folks who feed you the BLAME game. Don’t let them sway your thoughts.
Instead of suspicion, LOOK AT THE NUMBERS!!!
We are on the verge of going broke!!! You better hope that China does not call in our debt that we owe. MSM has not talked about that much have they?
Ask yourself, how is the presidents proposal going to lead us out of the mess?
It is simple. We need to stop running up the charge card. I rely on my US government to protect our borders and they are not even doing that.
The folks out of Washington need to stay out and let go old capitalism take this country forward. No more entitlements, no more hand outs except to those who are in true need.
As irritated as I am, I do not mean to “step on your toes”.
You who hold these grudges, I RESPECTFULLY ask you to consider the crisis at hand. We need your support!
If you do this, THERE WILL BE NO STOPPING this country becoming as great as it once was!

Boehner wants to spend $3 Billion (with a B) developing a new engine for the joint strike fighter that the military does not want and Gates wants to cancel because it will be built in his district. Apparently we aren’t quite that broke yet.

I’m so tired of republicans saying they are going to cut a trillion dollars but won’t say where.
They don’t answer the questions, but just keep mouthing their litany of balance the budget, balance the budget.
If someone will actually put forth their interpretation of the new budget,even just a rough guideline, I’ll back down, but when they use the word “entitlement” I guess they figure that those of us that paid into social security or retirement plans don’t mind giving those up when we retire and don’t realize that this is what Ryan is talking about.

Perhaps the GOP types here will remember UNCLE GEORGE II the village idiot that put us into this mess in the first place – secondly I’m convinced that Mr CANTOR and Mr RYAN are Democratic operatives out to guarantee the end of their philosophy. If you want to effect REAL CHANGE you GOONS you need to SCREW the UBER RICH that you are so beholden to – not the middle class that vote you into office AGAIN AND AGAIN to only get NOTHING in RETURN – do you really think the electorate is that CONSUMATELY STUPID (oh sorry – that’s YOU I’m talking about!)
