Associated Press:
"Washington — Job openings fell for the second straight month in December, a sign that hiring is still weak even as the economy is gaining strength. The Labor Department says employers advertised nearly 3.1 million jobs that month, a drop of almost 140,000 from November. That's the lowest total since September."
The reasons are clear. What is lacking is the will in the executive to do something about them.

"The view that government and big business work together against the interests of others is shared across partisan, demographic and ideological lines. Seventy percent (70%) of liberals hold that view, along with 69% of conservatives. Seventy-one percent (71%) Republicans think it's true, and so do 64% of Democrats." - rasmussen

Flash Override: "Of course they expected more - the sense of entitlement that these corporate welfare queens carry is nearly unlimited."
What were they thinking? Being all "entitled" to run a business free of government over-regulation and over-taxation, during such hard economic times no less. With Obama as president, sadly, this is a serious question. What you liberals don't seem to understand is that fighting "big business" is the same as fighting for a longer recession and continued unemployment. The day liberals understand this is the day they stop tearing down the very economic engine we all rely on.

Interesting, as Obama WH is setting up a hotline to connect employees who are disgruntled with their bosses to link up with trial attorneys to defend them. Obama is anti business. He has put into place measures that drive away jobs and the MSM embraces all he does. Obama supports Stern and Trumpka, labor leaders who want the world to unite under a one world worker umbrella. He is trying to unionize TSA workers so eventually they will become as effective as unionized teachers. All his ideas are putting us deeper into debt, causing an increase in public union jobs and a decrease in private sector.

Here you go:
"One week after he called on lawmakers to close tax-code loopholes that benefit specific industries, President Obama proposed one of his own - a tax break aimed at spurring the development of energy-efficient commercial buildings."
It will never end. And in the long run it will always be harmful, as it always has been.

Loved hearing the Prez talk about lower rates while closing "loopholes." Evey president talks that way. Not one of them ever mentions that each and every loophole is an exemption, deduction or credit that some past congress and president thought should be enacted into law, and they enacted it in order to encourage some sort of favored behavior. They have created a monstrosity, primarily in response to whatever source can provide the most political clout at some point in history.
And there's no point in tying this disastrous overall policy--using the tax code to reward particular practices--to either party. They both do it, and unless we have something close to a revolution they will continue to do it.
When you have some leisure time, look into what the current internal revenue code provides for those who decided to breed alpacas.
