The Federal Government is out of control and this article proves it.
If anything comes of the Tea Party movement, duplication of oversight is absolutely necessary.
Every single member of Congress should be appalled at this report.
Why we haven’t seen this on every news outlet is beyond comprehension.

If those in congress would take a good hard look at this report and cut the programs that are not needed or are a waste of money, billions could be cut from the budget instead of attacking the poor and middle class, women and children the old or the sick. This is the way we should go in our fight to reduce the deficit not the way Republicans/Tea party want to do it, probably bad for big business.

I believe we’ve found our common ground. Everyone appears to be in agreement that the Congress are jackasses and that government waste needs to be addressed. Finally! Let’s keep the pressure on to Defrag the budget and make sure the jackasses don’t cut funding for the GAO.

Get to cutting boys and girls. It’s about time. And while we’re at it, why don’t we stick an “effectiveness metric” provision into new and existing spending that requires some sort of evaluation process to determine if the program actually does what it’s supposed to do?
How about we measure our progress for a change eh?

Let’s see what reaction we get from our government. Almost every area in government has a fraud, waste and abuse office. Maybe now we can actually get them to do their job.

Coburn came close to the truth. Rather than just looking like JA’s, maybe the truth is, they are JA’s.
In the first place, they complicate bills so much with earmarks and pork, that no one really knows what has been passed.
One of the things that needs to be changed, is that no bill should have ANY unrelated items attached to it, whatsoever.

Now if we could just get the politicians to act on this, instead of them just cutting programs that are favorites of the “other” party. I’m thinking of the Republicans’ reluctance to cut any part of the defense budget here.
