Obama Meets the Chicago Blackhawks, Who ‘Helped Chicago Become a Hockey Town Again’
ABC News’ Sunlen Miller reports:
President Obama hosts a lot of sports teams at the White House, but today was a bit “sweeter,” he said, being that the 2010 Stanley Cup Champions, the Chicago Blackhawks, were from his hometown.
The president put the other Chicago teams on notice.
“And let me, yes, just say to all the Bears fans, Bulls fans, White Sox fans, and Cubs fans I want to see all of you sometime soon, as well,” Obama said from the South Lawn ceremony at the White House.
The president said that it is a “proud tradition” in Chicago of believing “that no matter how long it takes, how much we have to endure, it’s only a matter of time before our team finally wins it all.”
“Now, I have to say, even by Chicago standards, 49 years, that’s a pretty long time,” Obama joked adding that the last time the Blackhawks won the Stanley Cup he was “still in diapers.”
The president said that the “tough, talented, selfless” team “helped Chicago become a hockey town again.”
“In the end, it was about more than just bringing home one of the biggest trophies in sports. It was about a city coming together behind one team and one goal. It was about a new generation of players and fans understanding what it feels like to be the best in the world. It was about getting the chance to share that experience with others.”
The president was presented with a Blackhawks jersey, and a tiny version of the Stanley Cup.
“A mini Stanley,” Obama exclaimed, “when I first saw this I thought it looks so much bigger on TV.”
The president was given a championship ring to pose for pictures with and after putting the large ring on he quipped. “That’s what you call some bling, right there.”

Surprised Obama didn’t claim credit for Chicago’s Stanley Cup victory.

Stories I’d like to see covered……
1) Is Obama being honest and open in his a]technically accurate statement regarding U.S. oil production?
2) Is the SPR going to become a re-election decision rather than a security decision?
3) Bank of America is allegedly going to be exposes as willing and complicit in fraud by a “hacker collective anonymous”web site? Is the timing of the AIG buyback and the splitting of BOA into “good bank” “bad bank” related?
4) Toshiba purchase the nuclear division of Westinghouse a few years ago. This division has become highly profitable and also has NRC approval for U.S> reactors. What are the ramifications of the earthquake on the reactors and Americas future nuclear program?
5) Bill Clinton calls Obama’s anti-drilling policies ridiculous at a time when The Economy is still rebuilding, according to attendees at the IHS CERAWeek conference. Any comment from the administration? Or will Mr Clinton, as in the Joe Sestak issue say it depends on what the meaning if “is’ is!
6) Was the White House involved in helping organize Union and political operatives in Wisconsin ? Will there be hearings on this issue?
Of course we can talk about Chicago and hockey if you like.

The sad thing is that an 8.9 earthquake could have hit the U.S. with tens of thousands of casualties and this nitwit still would be hanging out with professional athletes, playing golf and partying.

Thank goodness while Obama is golfing, the GOP is looking out for us by cutting the funding for early warnings for tsunamis.

Obama was born August 4, 1961
The last time the Blackhawks won the Stanley Cup was April 16. 1961
Obama was not born yet. He certainly wasn’t in diapers.
He doesn’t even care about his lies any more, and “Mr. ComiNsky” Park has probably never been to a Blackhawks game.
