General McChrystal, one of the bravest men on the planet, is still a very important national asset. He was a very
burnt out soldier who needed to come home. Let him alone so that he may serve the country which has always been his top priority. This country asks way too much of its military. President Obama is smart enough to understand this.

As the mother of an active duty Marine in Afghanistan I am deeply disappointed. Even more that support, military families want the TRUTH. Mary Tillman should be on the board!

I guess McChrystal’s appointment represents an Obama Mea Culpa for getting suckered into acceptance of the veracity of the “Rolling Stone” article..resulting in comments which continue here…see DENBO (above) regarding the comment “someone” made about the VP…….it was attributed to someone…..not verified that it was made by the General…….the more digging done regarding “Rolling Stone” and one of their rare forays into journalism, and it is a “mea culpa” for Obama’s all to quick jump into the mess.
