President Obama will travel to San Francisco, California this morning, on a two-day West Coast swing to sell his deficit reform plan and raise money for the Democratic party.
The president will hold a "Shared Responsibility and Shared Prosperity" town hall at the Facebook headquarters in Palo Alto where he will discuss his "vision" for bringing down the deficit. Today's town hall follow's yesterday's in Northern Virginia and Mr. Obama on Thursday will hold a third in Reno, Nevada.
"Hi, everybody," Mr. Obama said in the video posted Monday on his Facebook page previewing the event. "I just want to take a minute to invite you to a town hall meeting on the economy that I'm holding at Facebook's headquarters….. It is going to be live-streamed, and I will answer questions from folks across the country."
Later in the evening, the President will attend two DNC fundraisers in San Francisco, one at a private residence and the other at the Nob Hill Masonic Center.
The President will spend the night in San Francisco.
