ABC News' Sunlen Miller reports:

After receiving his regular morning briefings in the Oval Office, President Obama will sit down for local TV interviews with WSB Atlanta, Georgia, WKYC Cleveland, Ohio, WTKR Hampton Roads, Virginia and WXYZ Detroit, Michigan.

As was the last rounds of targeted local interviews, the White House says the president will speak about his plan for deficit reform.

Afterwards the President will hold a bilateral meeting with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan of the United Arab Emirates in the Oval Office.

"They'll be discussing regional security issues, as you would expect," White House press secretary Jay Carney said yesterday previewing the meeting, "The UAE has been a very helpful partner with the coalition in dealing with Libya, and, you know — but I think they'll talk about broader issues as well as specifically Libya."

In the afternoon the president will meet with Secretary of Defense Gates in the Oval Office privately.
