It seems no matter what is produced it will be doubted his birth certificate looks just like mine that was from within a year of his b4 you accuse it of not looking right look at yours most people in fact my kids and family dont even have that much info the only thing that matters is the court house seal and NO it does not have to be APOSTILLED. yours is not that is for completely different purpose.And to the person who commented on footprints that is not on ANY of the ORIGINAL birth certificates I have ever seen the copies that contain that are usually decorative frameable copies that SOME hospitals provide for a fee my kids dont have them I dont have one and I do have the tattered origional copy of mine that was issued when I was born Along with several other official copies i purchased later that have much less info.

Lydia, when you’ve been around the sun enough times and you have had to deal with the government on many of those trips you realize that errors happen all the time as does sheer incompetence. The fact that there is a B-Certif Lite is hardly proof of a Long Form.
It isn’t a Black thing especially with me because I consider Obama more of a White guy. It’s a combination of factors. I’d say his goofy parents are enough to cast doubt.

Noz, why isn’t the short form birth certificate good enough for birthers, when it is good enough for a passport, obtaining a license and registering a child for school? And knowing a short form isn’t given out without a long form on record?
It isn’t a coincidence that our first black president’s birth place is being questioned, but all the white guys running and elected never had their American identity questioned.
I’m a white middle-aged woman who finds the birthers ideas ridiculously illogical.

OK, I accept that.
But keep in mind Lydia that God also loves Long Form Birth Certificates. That’s why he puts the little footie print on them. They are just sooooo cute.
Now you ought to face facts that the B-Certif Lite just isn’t good enough for boat loads of great americans no matter what Hawaii says.

To those who doubt that there’s any sense in it being against the law to copy a birth certificate, KY law prohibits copying an official birth certificate. It would be too easy to alter a copy, so copies are not legal. VA law also prohibits copying a VA birth certificate. There is a statement right on the birth certificates warning against copying.

Well, Franklin is obviously not the man his father was. He’s evidently put petty political rhetoric ahead of his work for God and country. This is only serving to be more divisive in a very troubled time. If he wants to incite another Civil War, this is the way to go.

Graham is assuming that all states have the same laws about how long hospitals keep records. In many states they are only required to keep them for six years or if for children, until they would be 19.
Just like many birthers are thrown off by a birth certificate being worded, ‘certificate of live birth’. They are the same thing, but every state doesn’t follow the same rules!
Sheesh.

Wow, there are sure some wacky comments here!
It seems rather silly for anyone to insist on a long form certificate to prove Obama was born in Hawaii, since a short form is enough for a passport, a license and to register a child for school.
Folks, you do realize that the state will not issue a short form without a long form arriving first?? So the short form proves the existence of the long form, that’s why the short form is used for passports, etc. Sheesh!
Birthers, face it, you have to be a little bit racist to keep harping on this issue, when Obama’s birth certificate has been examined by experts, shown on factcheck.org and other news sites.
Have you ever insisted any other president was born elsewhere and had to ‘prove’ he was an American?? Nope, and maybe that’s because they’ve been white.
Let it go already. Look around you, our country has always been a mixture of races and nationalities. Accept it, that God made us in different colors, shapes and sizes. And He loves us all.
