Incredible – the excuse is written into the headline. Was Obama jetlagged when he pronounced the ‘s’ in corps on multiple occasions? Was he tired when he stated that he had visited 57 states? Was he too tired to speak without a teleprompter when he visited a middle school last year? If Obama were a Repub, the media would be hurling one pejorative after another at him and deriding him as a blithering idiot. Since he is a Dem, he’s just very tired. It must be nice to be a Dem.

Adam_me, jet lag will affect each of us differently. As will multi-tasking.
As for me, if someone is speaking to me while I write, I frequently start writing what they are saying.
And in the news there are so many stories of how multi-tasking really doesn’t work; it results in many errors and lower performance.
Don’t you find it comical that now matter what Obama does, the Obama haters whine, complain and nag? They get amnesia about past presidents similar or worse behavior. They don’t weigh the importance of what they are criticizing, giving a small mistake like writing a wrong year the same importance of legislation they don’t agree with.
Hate is corrosive to the person feeling it. Thus their sense of logic, balance and fairness all are diminished.
