Why did they bury him at sea before giving us the opportunity to see the body? After 10 years of rumors on his whereabouts, I would like to have seen him with my very own eyes.

So “facial recognition software” can identify somebody after a NATO 5.56mm headshot at close range? Sounds like somebody’s invoking Amazing New Technology as part of his 2012 campaign, to me.

So our commander and chief put American lives at great risk to get the body (for political purposes??) instead of just dropping munitions on his compound??? If Osama was keeping women and children there, then he put them in harms way and should be held accountable. I am glad none of our guys were hurt, but would have prefered to not have put them in that position.

Now let’s all watch the Left, who has forever denigrated and demeaned the military, calling them “jack booted thugs”, murderers” operators of gulags (prison camps) and “no better then the enemy we seek to defeat”, take full credit for this great victory.
Remember had Obama had his way we wouldn’t even be in Afghanistan or Iraq and be in no position to take down the savage (if in fact we did). The military effort in the WOT would have been DEFUNDED if the Dems had their way and who can forget the 4 months it took him to just make up his mind to send more troops to Afghanistan at the request of our Generals?

I congratulate President Obama for ordering the mission on Sunday.However,in the glow of victory there are some troubling issues:#1-if this story of a planned March attack is true,was it necessary to risk the lives of American servicemen in the operation yesterday?#2 was it wise to wait 2 months before striking?#3 it appears that the President had multiple National Security meetings before ordering the hit.Was he reluctant to proceed?#4 we do not know the specifics of this operation,but it seems very similar to the action against the Somali pirates after taking that American ship captain hostage. At that time Obama continuosly refused to give permission to move-the captain was rescued and the pirates killed only when the on-site commamder ordered the action when the pirates were within sight of land and reinforcement.Obama never did give the command to dispatch the pirates-but the White House did claim credit.

I thought Obama’s speech last night was decent, but there were too many ‘I’s, “me”s and “my”s in it. Calling Bush to notify him was a very classy thing to do.

Well the Sea Burial is rather stupid.
We could have mummified the guy and put him in a shrine in that soon to be Ground Zero Mosque. We then could have kept tabs on who visited the memorial, there would not be any doubt we got the guy and the best thing is he would have served as a Dead Human Shield for New York City. The site would quickly become a holy site for Radical Muslims and they would then never nuke the city.

How funny! Photos and video would prove nothing to this group. Even a dead body would have been questioned. How many of you would have been able to confirm it was Bin Laden from photos. Every news outlet is reporting a successful mission to kill Bin Laden. Everyone of importance in the military and both parties are glad it was successful and don’t think it was faked. Of course many secret aspects of how these seals acted will not be brought forward, because our national security issues need protection.
The burying of Osama Bind Laden at sea was good decision and was done with respect according to Muslim Law. The allowed 24 hour period before burying was insufficient for too many alternatves. Also burying at sea immediately takes away any possibility of legal claim rights to Osama Bin Laden’s body. This also took away the possibility of Laden’s gravesite becoming a shrine.
I found Obama’s personal choice decision to use US seals once again quite interesting. Was a difficult gutsy call when he had multiple plans presented by his top military advisers. Obama sure knew he would be politically ridiculed if mission failed. All was handled same successful way as when American were rescued from Somali pirates.
This is a great time for American people to finally come together as a nation. This was great news. Thank you President Obama, our US military, and our brave US military seals. Job well done!!!!

So, let’s cut to chase…it was former President GWB’s enhanced interrogation policies at GITMO that got OBL in the end, something “W” said he’d defend to the death (his death being something the libs wanted to see more than OBL’s!!!) In fact, they even made a movie about “W’s” assination, called him a torturer, Hitler, worse that OBL, and various other derrogatory names. And of course, the lame-stream press went right along with it….interesting we don’t hear a peep out of that bunch now, huh? Incidentally, when enhanced interrogation techniques were voted against by Congress–(by the likes of Barack Obama & Joe the “F-Man” Biden and the rest of those “yellow” libs in Congress) during the Bush admin; they wanted HIS (“W’s” head!). History will confirm that it was “W’s” policies (including water-boarding–which is part of enhanced interrogation) and maintaining that terrorists be kept at GITMO for military tribunals that ultimately got the “Rat-in-the-Hole, OBL” in the end! In conclusion, it looks like Obama will continue the Bush policies… and, yes, it is certainly THE MOST SINCERE FORM OF FLATTERY!!!
