RUdy is the only one with an actual track record. He’s the only one that has walked the talk on fiscal control, crime, terror, and business generation. His management style is proven. From the internal workings of the White House to leadership on the global stage, no one in the republican field or the current president holds a candle to what Rudy has done or will do.
His only problem is getting that message out. If nothing else, it’ll be interesting to see what he has learned from the 2008 campaign.

I’ve been a Teaparty member since its inception. However, I want to see how a candidate does who’s a fiscal conservative but compromising on issues like gun control, right to choose, etc. I think the essence of Rudy would be good for America. People recall him as a “Unifier.” Obama ran on the illusion of hope for change and a transparent presidency – the personna won an election democrats were destined to win. I think Rudy’s personna could catch hold and bring back American pride if past mistakes and personal baggage don’t drag him down. No candidate is without those two things. At least his are out in the open.

Palin will take Iowa with Paul second and Romney third. Romney takes New Hampshire. Palin takes South Carolina while Paul takes Nevada.
This thing’s going to be a three-way race all the way to the convention.
Giuliani’s phantom “support” will collapse like it did in 2008, since the country will have turned the page on 9/11 at the 10-year anniversary mark (if it hasn’t already with Osama’s death)

When they made Rudy Giuliani they broke the mold.I don’t think anyone could have guided the city in a more intelligent course during the attack then the Mayor.I know New York City like the back of my hand having lived there from 1951 until 1986. With all due respect to Rudy, electability is what counts. Barack Obama was elected in 2008 because he was youthful, hip and offered new ideas. Unfortuneately his platform then has yet to come to fruition. As a life long Republican, I see a good chance at victory this 2012. I am fond of Rudy but there are a few candidates on the list who have been there and done that. I believe the GOP has to send out a new face on Broadway, figuratively speaking a Republican prototype of Obama with Conservative principles. There are some younger and in tune people running , you know.

Honestly, if he can do the job for this country as he did for NYC, do we really have to care about whether he is divorced, doesn’t care about your sexual preference or his religion.
No one is perfect in life and this position requires strong leadership, ability to think and act outside the box and to not back down.
I lived in NY when it was a cesspool and I came back to find it a nice city again on a visit in 98. It was truly amazed.
Kudos to Rudy and we need someone to clean up our financial mess and our country as a whole.

Republicans have a choice to make. Either pick a candidate who is very conservative and will run on an unpopular platform or one who is competent and qualified that moderates and independents can vote for. We won’t vote for right-wing idealogues, or self-serving bigots. If republicans don’t nominate a qualified candidate who can lead from the middle we’ll just vote for Obama again.

I would vote for a McCain/ Giuliani ticket in a heartbeat! McCain would win against Obama in 2012. McCain has National & International name recognition and respect, strong national security experience, a voting record of ZERO earmarks, and supporters that are waiting in the wings for a “Rematch of the Century”. Of all the hopeful GOP candidates, McCain is the only one that will attract the Independents, a voting group Obama is losing and a must have to win in 2012.

True, but sadly it won’t happen. Americans are under the misconception that they country the government with their votes. The reality is that their votes are manipulated by the rich using the media.
The best example was Ron Paul. He did very well during the debates BUT the media refused to cover him. Fox kept him out of one debate and when we was in the next debate they asked him questions like “are you really electable”. He gave a great response which Fox News deleted when rerunning the debate.
