Sarah Palin, Donald Trump Praise Each Other Over Pizza
ABC News' Sheila Marikar reports from New York:
It was a scene out of a reality TV producer's dream: Sarah Palin, Donald Trump and their families eating dinner at a Times Square pizza joint.
The pizza summit happened after Palin met with "The Apprentice" star/real estate mogul at his tony 5th Avenue apartment. There, surrounded by press and curious onlookers, the two would-be/could-be Republican presidential contenders showered each other with praise.
He said: "I’ll tell you she's a great woman, a terrific woman, and a great friend." Asked if he'd endorse her, Trump replied, "I'd love her to run."
She said: "What do we have in common? A love for this country and a desire to see our economy put back on the right track." She also praised “his independence, his willingness to speak his mind.”
There was plenty of pizza to be had — pepperoni and cheese — when Palin, Trump and their families sat down to dinner at Famiglia's Famous Pizza on 50th and Broadway. There were no endorsements, but when asked, "How about a Trump-Palin ticket?" Palin crowed, "That sounds exciting! Sounds unconventional!"
(Also unconventional: Melania Trump dripping with diamonds while picking at pizza on a paper plate.)
Palin and Trump parted ways on the sidewalk, once again thronged by onlookers. She's off to Ellis Island in the morning, the next stop on her whirlwind tour of the Northeast's historic monuments.

Doug.
You are such an accomplished soul? I hope you hold an executive position or have a couple of billion dollars to your name if you are going to talk like that!
Quitters, indeed…..

Now THAT’S a match made in hell! The two of them combined couldn’t compose an intelligent, comprehensible paragraph. And neither seem to care about checking their facts before spouting their inanities.

These posters just make my point over and over again. They can’t help themselves and they are obsessed with this woman. It really shows in their comments…

If it wasn’t news worthy you wouldn’t have even opened up the article. Since you did, and you actually comment, it shows that you are really concerned with all things Sarah!!!

I bet the only reason they met tonight is because Todd is going bald and Sarah wants the secret of the Donald’s comb-over

Itis strange how the country with the highest concentration of academics could also produce such political goons as Palin and Trump and they get a following. You seem not to appreciate that you need right thinking people to lead.

Two side show clowns meant for each other. Thanks to McCain for unleashing this public nuisance called Sarah Palin. She is an opportunist scavenging for a little fame in front of the camera. As for Donald Chump, when are we gonna see those tax returns and the bankruptcy records? Obama released his birth certificate.

Sarah Palin is touring some of the northeast’s historic landmarks, but does she understand the significance of the one’s she is visiting? I would love to give her a history quiz to see if she knows the basics about our country’s history. I can’t get over her claiming she had a wealth of foreign policy experience because she could see Russia from Alaska. I wonder what her domestic qualifications are…maybe a quiz would reveal some domestic qualification gems.

Two of the biggest egomantics in the US. It is amazing that New York didn’t blow up for these two in one room together. Maybe if they don’t run for President they can make a new WWE Tag Team called No we Can or Show me the Money? Not to creative but true.

Worst case scenario… Trump will offer to pay for more than extra cheese pizza with sausage, pepperoni, meatballs, prosciutto, and moose testicles.

It’s surprising that someone who came into office as mayor promising to cut wasteful spending and lower property taxes, actually left office with Wasilla over $20 million in debt. Records show that when she entered office Wasilla’s debt was one million or less.

That’s called swindling you, Dave and fools OUT of your MONEY!!!

Dave if only your blame game was legit… Guess this is the President fault as well. Will you all grow up and STOP telling lies on the President, this woman was charged with unethical acts for years before President Obama. Another ethics complaint aimed at holding Sarah Palin accountable has been filed with the Attorney General’s office by Anchorage resident and registered Republican Andrée McLeod. The document charges that Governor Palin has violated the Alaska Executive Branch Ethics Act for failure to submit completed and signed gift disclosure forms claiming gifts received by her and her family as specified by law.
“Governor Palin intentionally and willfully broke the Ethics Act by not claiming gifts timely, if at all,” McLeod said.
The Ethics Act is exceedingly and simply clear in that officials MUST claim gifts within 30 days of receipt. Yet, Sarah Palin states in a June 15th letter, “There are boxes of unopened mail at this point, even mail that was delivered in 2008. Thus, as initially disclosed, ‘we continue to open boxes’ and we consider any parcel “received” at the time it is opened.”

“The governor’s statement sets off alarms. Alaskans expect their public officials to follow the rules of law; especially the ones that are intended to keep them honest,” McLeod said. “Instead this woman admits to having no intention of complying with our laws.”
McLeod continues, “What possible reason is there for Palin to keep all these gifts a secret for so long? Why has she not disclosed them by the book now before quitting? ”
YEP that’s President Obama fault too why she will brake the law NOT to report all those gifts from Dave and friends!!!

I think it is a brilliant combination of two knowledgable people who understand “street smart” and the weakness of some who do not recognize two good down to earth people!

Who, indeed, cares for this charade? This woman may mistake curiosity of idle Americans for electoral votes. She wouldn’t get 30 per cent of Americans voting for her in any national office (not even now in Alaska–and she knows it), except in Arizona, her kind of state because of its hatred of Latinos and other immigrants.
