You know what this current crowd of GOP liars want is to turn the United Sates into China, where only a few giant corporations run things, they own the factories, that apartments, the grocery stores, the gas stations, the newspaper and magazine publications, the radio stations, the television stations and you pay them and they get all the benefits, and if you do not like it go jump off cliff. Well some Chinese workers seeing that as individuals that they cannot progress have done just that by committing suicide. The current crowd of GOP liars want to abolish Medicare from the elderly, they want to abolish a woman’s right to choose and have control over her own body, they want to abolish collective bargaining rights, and on top of it all they want to blame the middle class and public sector workers for a recession that they created, while their beloved “Fat cats” continue to pay themselves exorbitant salaries, bonuses, fringe benefits. Yes this is the GOP “Radical Right-Wing Social Engineering” that they dream about. New York was the beginning but the next will be Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Ohio, Wisconsin and later the other states of our nation. I wonder how many in the GOP senate will now vote for the Ryan Plan, I know a few who will be running, GOOD!

I will repeat. The problem our Congress has currently is all the “populist” tea party freshmen who just do not understand anything they are doing in a system that requires “problem solving AND compromise”. They are as “cluelessd” as those who voted them in. But its OK to me because I can see that is them that will implode the GOP with all their “whacked out” conspiricay theories and unrealistic “right wing philosophies”.

not grasping just tired of the same old thang.most people i know will tell you that obama care calls for major cutts to medicare and the gop is actually saving it compared to obama care but it gets lost in the translation. all i know is i spend 25,000 a year on health care and it isnt going to get better until i get on medicare.
meanwhile anyone in california can walk into an emergancy room for free health care.
i think shortly here i am going to work on things i can change. this system we have smells foul and its turning on haves and have nots. most of the have nots dont want to make the effort that most of the haves had, they want to take from the haves. same crap that doesnt work and wont work.
i am beginning to think that california and new york are out of touch with most of america.

This can not be an abberation at all. This district is so conservative they voted for Cal Paladino, the crazy Tea Party guy over the popular Cuomo, for Mcain over obama when the state voted overwhelmingly for the opposite. Republicans have double the money and over 27,000 registration advantage. They can say all they want about the third party guy but the facts remain that as he lost votes, the Republican should have benefited in the run up to the election, instead the votes he lost went to the Democrat! 2012 baby!

There are 97 congressional districts currently represented by a Republican in New York that are more moderate than New York 26, the heavily Republican district that just voted for a Democrat. These New York Republicans who voted to dismantle Medicare are at risk, as are Republican House members across the nation.
They claim this election of a Democrat was an aberration. They are wrong.
Americans have made it clear: A broad swath of voters, across political parties, are unwilling to eliminate Medicare in favor of extensive tax breaks for the wealthiest as the Ryan budget plan proposes.

Funny, how losing the supreme court judge seat a few weeks ago in Wisconsin is forgotten, And when you consider the time and money the unions put in to support
the democratic candidate. Losing a three way race in New York is really no worry.
The Wisconsin race was covered twice as much as it was the solution to stopping the
removal of bargaining rights and budget cuts. Just another example of history trying to be rewritten.
