President Obama wakes up in London, England this morning. The First Couple will participate in an arrival ceremony at Buckingham Palace kicking off their official state visit with the Queen.
The Obamas will also meet behind-closed-doors with William and Catherine, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge upon arrival at Buckingham Palace today, a White House official confirms this morning.
The President and the First Lady will then have a private lunch with Her Majesty the Queen at Buckingham Palace. After lunch the Obamas will view the Portrait Gallery at Buckingham Palace.
Afterward, the President and the First Lady will tour Westminster Abbey and the President will participate in a wreath laying ceremony.
Later in the afternoon, the President and the First Lady will arrive at 10 Downing Street for a visit with Prime Minister David Cameron and his wife. Afterward the President will meet separately with Opposition Leader Ed Miliband at Buckingham Palace.
In the evening, the President and the First Lady will attend a dinner hosted by Her Majesty the Queen at Buckingham Palace. The Obamas will spend the night at Buckingham Palace.
