I wonder if anyone even bothered to read Rick Fuentes statement that the helicopter was in use anyway, and did not add any expenditures to the state budget? Everyone keeps shouting that he wasted money, but it appears no extra money was spent here. Whether you agree with his politics or not, Mr. Christie takes a hard political stand that, unfortunately, many politicians refuse to do, on the grounds that it might hurt their popularity. The fallout is that he has made many enemies that will turn a mole hill into a mountain, stir the muck, and try to make sure he does not get re-elected. There are some of us, however, that appreciate his attempt to reign in government spending, and to control taxes. I see through this ruse, in the past, a helicopter ride would never make the news. I wonder why it’s become such a big deal now?

We can’t afford to fuel our cars because this guy shuts down any construction job that he disagrees with and any union employee that is out of work due to this @#% and he takes tax dollars to see his son play ball? Don’t think just by paying a bill for the ride now will change the outlook of the next election! he ran for gov and knows the sacrifices, don’t think I’ll vote for this Hippocratic gov again!

new jersey has been mocked so many times as a horrable state due to voters who vote for harrable govs,this is what we end up with,a 400 lb man who cant walk 100 feet and can’t catch his breath to his sons game.but remember ALL THAT VOTED FOR CHRISTE,NOW I KNOW YOU WISHED YOU DID NOT VOTE FOR HIM.ALSO THE BLAME IS SHOULD NOT BE ON OBOMA,THINK ABOUT WERE THIS COUNTRY WAS BEFORE HE WAS ELECTED PRESIDENT?

Governor Christie’s wanting to be there for his family is actually quite admirable..Those precious moments with our children are limited..It would be okay, occasionally, to use the helicopter to make it to a family event- After leaving business..If he would cover the fuel and pilot’s time…

THIS WILL NEVER END OR BE SETTLED. THE FACT IS (IT SEEMS TO ME) NONE OF US CAN CLAIM TO BE A DEMOCRAT, NOR A REPUBLICAN UNLESS WE ATTEND LOCAL MEETINGS AND PARTICIPATE IN ACTIVITES TO SUPPORT THE CAUSE.
THAT BEING SAID,,MOST ALL FORMS OF OUR GOVERNMENT IS CORRUPT,WASTEFUL. MOST LAWS ARE PASSED TO REWARD THIS OR THAT GROUP TO GET THEIR VOTES.
ONLY CONGRESS CAN PROVIDE MONEY FOR THE GOVERNMENT TO SPEND,(NOT THE PRESIDENT).
KEEP IN MIND, THE LAST FOUR YEARS OF THE BUSH TERM, THE DEMOCRATS CONTROLED C CONGRESS (AS THEY HAVE FOR TWO YEARS NOW) WHILE THE REPUBLICANS MAY HAVE ALLOWED THE BALL TO START ROLLING DOWN HILL SIX YEARS AGO AND BEORE,,THE DEMOCRATS DID NOTHING TO STOP IT IN THE LAST SIX YEARS.
NO, HE SHOULD NOT HAVE USED THE HELICOPTER, NOR SHOULD ANY POLITICIAN (PRESIDENT ON DOWN) USE ANY GOVERNMENT FACILITIES FOR PERSONAL GAIN.
I STILL HAVENT FIGURED WHY CLINTON WASNT FIRED FOR HAVING USED GOVERNMENT FACILITIES FOR SEX (MOST ANY OTHER GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEE WOULD HAVE).

So I guess the president should just stay in the white house and go nowhere because of security traffic and gasses caused by his travel. Noone was saying any of that when Dubya was traveling to Crawford to tend to his “brush” every other week it seemed like. Hypocrites are not dispicable they are hillarious.
