		<description>When Obama taged Hunstman for the China Job, the Repubs in Utah said, &quot;good riddance, he wasn&#039;t a Real Republican anyway.&quot;
He was the perfect pick for the job tho but for the last 2 1/2 years was &#039;the invisible man&#039; during all the scandalous goings on with Chinese.
Imports laced with lead, outrageous favorable low tarrifs, and humnan rights violations.
Sure he can speak chinese, and knows the political landscape, but I think his time was wasted on the posting...instead of talking about the U.S. China trade problems and how he would deal with them as President,
he is speaking out against subsidies and unfair trade practices, but this time they are against corporate U.S. firms....not a good place for a Repub to take a stand.
Maybe the nattering Ut&#039;s in his home state were right...

		<description>I like Huntsman alot then Romney. I need to find someone besides OBAMA. And, I am looking very closely at Huntsman.
Obama is a disappointment to many who voted for him and who did not vote for him.

		<description>To Ed:
The Truth...Much so. I guess the man from Utah will avoid Texas (oil and wind subsidies), Florida, Lousisiana, Arizona (Solar subsidies that make ethanol subsidies blush), California, and all such places receiving heavy energy subsidies (many of which are much larger than any ethanol subsidy).
Huntsman is just dodging, and not being very truthful about it.

		<description>In ideal times I would MUCH rather subsidies and government largesse going to farmers and rural areas(at least small farmers not BigAG) instead of welfare queens, inner-city boondoggles, environmental claptrap, Congressional junkets, &quot;studies&quot; of arcane matters on the public dime, etc. However, these are not good, ideal times. We need to eliminate the subsidies, at least for ethanol. At the same time change the regulations, taxation, etc and allow ethanol for personal use on the farm, co-ops, etc.

		<description>Ditching Iowa is a mistake.
I think there is only Mandate Mitt and Newt that are on record supporting these ridiculous subsidies.
So, I guess everyone except them should exit Iowa now.

		<description>Huntsman has said he doesn&#039;t believe in any energy subsidies period, including oil. I believe he met with T. Boone Pickens recently.
But Iowa demands a lot of face time, favors the Fair Tax, evangelicals and ethanol subsidies, and they have not heard of Huntsman. After all, he doesn&#039;t have a show on FOX, he hasn&#039;t run for national office before, and he has been in China. Huntsman is wonkish, not gimmicky or a firebrand.
It seems his speech at the Iowa Faith and Freedom Coalition was well-received. But he is smart to go after NH, SC and FL. IA is seeing their relevance wane, because they have become so predictable.
