ABC News' Sheila Marikar reports:

Sarah Palin shot down reports that she canceled her "One Nation Tour" this evening, saying she hasn't gotten back on the road because she's been called for jury duty.

In a Facebook post, Palin blasted the media's "greatly exaggerated" reports of her tour's demise and accused it of "making things up." She said she's "looking forward to hitting the open road again" later this summer but, for now, "civic duty calls," and, "even former governors get called up for jury duty."

Palin said her bus tour would resume "when the time comes" and, in the meantime, "no one should jump to conclusions" about why she's not chugging across the country.
