Maybe Sarah is right about Paul Revere,remember alot of educators, have cut out a lot of history that no one knows who is right anymore. That is why a lot of schools fail in history because a lot of information is not put out for everyone one to view.

and just to add, its not incredibly important that she knows the story of paul revere. that really has no bearing on modern american politics. im a student of history with a BA working on a law degree. more than anything this episode shows that she is willing to comment and give oppinions in matters that she really knows nothing about. it shows that she isnt prudent. she can not afford to make these mistakes if elected president or vp. she has slipped up too much. she thought africa was a country? excuse me? she is going to be the face of american foreign affairs????? she was fooled by a guy with a fake french accent into believeing she was speaking with Sarkozy….that is ridiculous..she needs to learn four words…”no comment” and “next question”..

paul revere was not warning loyalists, who very well probably considered themselves british. he was warning the rebellious factions of colonists who, by the time of lexington and concord, identified themselves as americans rather than british. this can verified through plenty of primary sources. do you think Ghandi and his followers considered themselves british? or that the vietnamese considered themselves french? regardless, her follow up explanation shows that she didnt mean it that way. she is just a nit wit. she clearly doesnt know her american history or any history for that matter. if you think her paul revere story is factual at all, then you are ignorant as well. im typically a fiscal conservative who usually votes red, but if she is on the ticket in any shape or form, i will cast mine for reelection.

The only story here is how some media outlets are grasping at anything to bring her down, yet so unwilling to look at the shortcomings of Obama. He was a complete embarrassment for our country with his recent visit to the UK, yet some member of the media scramble to draw attention away from his many shortcomings by pretending this is news.

Over half of Americans have no clue about our history, let alone know how many states we have in the US today…Obama. The corps men cracked me up…I could go on and on with BO’s gaffs but with his massive failed policies, a dog could win in 2012.
Gaffs do not equate to good administration…and BO is not and has not administered the office of President…4 wars, massive debt (hello China), unemployment, more on welfare than ever. He has never put out by LAW a balanced budget for congress and the senate to review and approve. He uses old radicals from the 60′s for input…lost every economic adviser that he hired. And the band played on while the titanic sank. Ship of fools.

“I don’t want the government to run my life but you go ahead, I guess that is all you are good for”.
Does that sound like an adult? Maybe she hired a Indian or Phillippine company to respond to the comments, that would explain the broken english. Otherwise it is kids. Probably hers.

The truth is that she did not mess up on the story. Get ready, socialists…..she will be our next President. Then you and your current Socialist President can leave and start your own country….preferably somewhere in the middle east.
