ABC News’ Sheila Marikar (@SheilaYM) reports:
Meet Sarah Palin, the marketing maven.
The former Alaska governor has heavily promoted “The Undefeated,” the new documentary about her. She shook hands, signed autographs and posed for photos at the film’s Pella, Iowa premiere Tuesday. She gave it an enthusiastic two-thumbs-up on Facebook and Twitter.
Now, her political action committee is wooing donors by throwing in an “early release DVD version” of the film with contributions of $100 or more. SarahPAC notes that the DVDs will be shipped after the film’s theatrical run, which begins July 15.
Meanwhile, at a book signing in Minnesota Wednesday, Palin reportedly employed a rule to make sure her daughter’s new memoir got as much attention as her own books. According to the Minneapolis Star Tribune, autograph seekers had to purchase Bristol Palin’s “Not Afraid of Life” to get her mother’s signature on either of her books, “Going Rogue” and “America by Heart.”
