’6 Days from Default, Both Sides Scrambling…But Whitehouse Rickrolling Twitter User’
During the White House briefing earlier today, David Wiggs of Franklin, TN, aka @wiggsd, tweeted: “This WH correspondence (sic) briefing isn't nearly as entertaining as yesterday's. #TCOT #WHchat”
Oddly enough, the White House responded: “@wiggsd Sorry to hear that. Fiscal policy is important, but can be dry sometimes. Here's something more fun: tinyurl.com/y8ufsnp #WHChat.”
The link is to a video of Rick Astley singing his worldwide Number 1 hit from 1987, “Never Gonna Give You Up.”
This is known in the internet world as “Rickrolling” someone: a prank in which you send someone a link they think will be of someone else and instead it’s the Rick Astley video.
Wiggs wrote back to the @WhiteHouse “Love it!” but later tweeted that the “@Drudge should have story ‘6 days from default, both sides scrambling…but Whitehouse rickrolling twitter user.’” A headline at the Drudge report mentions “6 Days from Default, Both Sides Scrambling.”

Biden Reflects on Grief, Suicidal Thoughts
Is Congress Sounding Dumber?
My fellow friends, there’s no need to worry or panic if the deadline passes. It’s all political show, so that politicians and Mr. Obama can pat themselves on the back at a later date, with people clapping and confetti pouring. Remember, Mr. Obama said that if you give me 1 Trillion, unemployment will never go above 8% and that’s already with buffering included. And remember Mr. Bush, if you give me authorization for two wars, we will find WMDs.

It seems to me that if the Congress and the House had to go without their paychecks and not receive backpay-maybe they would get their jobs done in the time given without special sessions!

This twitter stuff is for loser pop culture spiritually challenged liberals with no lives.
Of course it’s custom made for the likes of President NoBo and his White Wash Administration.

I just started Tweeting a few days ago and I am not a liberal. The rest of it is eerily close though.

And where exactly is Obama’s plan? He has none and has never had one. The Democrats have crafted this in their favor because they can pick on a Republican plan and make it and them look bad while they go scot free without even producing one. Then the Democrats can blame the GOP, yet again, for the economy going sour on the GOP plan. The Democrats are not clever, they are only CRAFTY, crafty politicians because to them politics is all there is, it is their only life, their only hope, and their only faith.

Actually Obama’s plan is just as detailed as the Republican’s Cut, Slash and Burn bill – which is quite vague, and doesn’t identify which programs will be cut, nor by how much, nor how. Nor does it identify how that might impact, nor who it will impact on.
The White House offered more than $1 trillion in cuts to discretionary spending, $650 billion in cuts to entitlement programs and, in return, asked Republicans for $1.2 trillion in additional revenues by eliminating loopholes and engaging in tax reforms.

Do a story on how many times Social Security was raided by Bush, Reagan and others.. How much was taken and if that money was returned… Where would SS stand? Appears to me, Republicans are trying to break SS’s funds…

Dear America,
Never Gonna Give You Up, as long as you keep paying our cushy salaries so the Recession doesn’t hit us.
Love,
A bunch of immature, non-productive, unfocused A.D.D. folks in the White House who make their living from the public till.
P.S. Being in politics is better than being on welfare!

So when did the CBO score that plan? Were you able to get a copy of this plan?

So do you bots ever get tired of asking where the President’s plan is? You know of course all bills pertaining to the finance of the Nation originate in the House of Representatives… right?
So everytime I hear (or read) one of you repub bots repeat that question, I am reminded of kids trying to tell me who started the fight… “It’s his fault, No it’s HIS fault!”
Intelligent people know where the Buck starts and where it stops. So how do you think we are supposed to take you seriously when you request, nay, DEMAND the president’s plan!

Not so many moons ago, the President formed a “Commission” which hopefully would have begun to get our thought processes geared toward government expense problems….what did Mr. Obama do with that Commission? Why, nothing, of course….probably couldn’t fit it into his schedule of raising funds and using our “Presidential Visitation” funds to fly from one campaign stop to another. This crap has to stop……get rid of Advisers by the 100s, apparently,
Mr. Obama…..this government was never intended to be a branch of the University of Chicago’s most liberal wing………do you job…stop jawboning…we want production out of the Oval Office other than divisiveness..

Why am I not amazed that of all the questions asked, probably thousands not seen, you choose to make your blog headline about this stuff…substance in reporting please…why don’t you mention some of the questions and answers that were real?
