ABC News’ Special Report: President Obama on Debt Ceiling Negotiations

Washington is at an impasse – the Republican House debt ceiling bill, if it passes the House, cannot pass the Senate while the Senate Democrats' bill cannot pass the GOP majority in the House. And with just a little over four days until America's credit line runs out, today marked the eighth time this month President Obama came out to address the debt crisis.

We went on the air with a special report for the president's remarks where he called for an end to "putting Party first" and said he remained confident that Congress can solve this problem.
