I’m sorry anybody that thinks its the Republicans or the Democrats alone fault this is happening is PART OF THE PROBLEM. I’m 37 years old we’ve been talking about this problem since I can remember. The moment I’ve been hearing since I was a kid is now upon us. The other problem is coming…Social security…I’ll never see it. Thank you baby boomers (both Democrats & Republicans) for blowing our future! You can’t keep watching your bills pile up and NOT expect it to be a problem @ some point! This COUNTRY IS FULL OF IDIOTS that can’t think past which party they are a part of it and it makes me want to VOMIT!!!

This is a stupid metaphor. The appropriate comparison would be to say it’s like a drunken sailor who has been borrowing money from you so long that you know he has almost no chance to ever pay it back, and you decide to cut him off no matter how much chaos and pain he says it will cause.
The media is useless in reporting any principle at all. If we spend it’s a disaster, if we stop spending it’s a disaster. They really have no conscience at all.

What does it matter, the banks will not lend anyway. Obama has seen to that. We should have a low credit rating, this President and Congress have over spent and miss managed everything they have touched.

This is terrorism at home. It is emotional terrorism for millions of Americans. I am one of them.
The people “on the hill” won’t lose their millions of dollars over this debate, if they stood to do that it would have been settled long ago.
If they can’t do their jobs any better than this, and quit acting like a room full of 3 year olds, then they deserve to be (and will be) “off the hill” in the next election.
