Another dog and pony show by the GOP. Their budget is a joke. Their refusal to increase taxes to gain revenue, while breaking the back of the middle class. Destroying medicare and social security. The GOP’s only goal is to tank the economy, blame the president for Bush’s failed policies and unpaid for wars and tax cuts,appease the fringe and their corporate donors and try to win an election. Slashing social programs, cutting wages, placing a higher tax burden on the middle class by forcing higher local taxes to cover the funding cuts. And now they are trying to convince us all this is good for us. When in fact, such severe tactics will do nothing but drive the economy off a cliff. There’s a reason 47% of Americans don’t pay federal taxes. It’s called living in poverty. More falling in to poverty than ever in our history over the last ten years.So bust the unions and drive wages down even more. Another great idea from the fringe.

I thought we elected people to Congress to debate and negotiate the issues. Signing a pledge to a singular point of view eliminates objective discussion. I thought this was a democracy. I think any congressman who signs a pledge should be recalled immediately.

The dirty little secret is that Social Security benefits are already “means” tested. Benefits are taxed for those making “too” much money! If the SS benefits are reduced based on income then the taxes already collected from higher income individuals will be lost. This will at the very least will partially offset any government “revenue enhancement” benefit!

HEY AFMCALAX!! To continue your education in the REAL world…. The Treasury also reported that in the 4 years following the Bush tax cuts the revenue coming in showed the HIGHEST increase in ANY 4 year period in the history of America. From some 1.7 Trillion to some 2.2 Trillion dollars. AMAZING SUCCESS!! Under Reagan the revenue coming in doubled after he cut the tax cuts… Google it and see. By the way the alternative is to follow the parasites in the Dem Party who refuse to go out and earn a living and want it paid for by others. So it comes down to whether you want to be a Producer or a Parasite… Look at Europe and see what the endgame is for Obama’s big government nanny state with high taxes and endless red tape. Entire countries BANKRUPTED by Socialism. Italy, Greece, Portugal, Ireland, Spain…. We are bailing them out by paying some 20% of the amount under our commitment to the IMF. Who is big enough to bail us out of Obama’s failed Socialist policies?????

The Dems have refused to even write a budget of over 2 YEARS. And Obama’s budget was voted down by the Senate 97 to ZERO. Not EVEN ONE Dem would support it tells you how bad it was. So Conservatives have written a plan and submitted it to the CBO and the CBO says it saves 5.7 Trillion dollars over the next ten years. It also extends the life of Medicare which will run out of money in 7 years according to the head of Medicare. Those are FACTS. Dems only offer criticisms and meaningless platitudes in speeches. And as the head of the Congressional Budget Office said “We do not score Speeches.” Where are the Dems WRITTEN PLANS??

My question is how come “we the people” aren’t allowed to view the details of these “plans” and “proposals”? Getting a little tired of the cloak and dagger politics going on here. We don’t even know what or how much is on the table so we can try to prepare for it or fight against it. We don’t even know what the minimum is that’s being cut. We’re like cattle being driven over a cliff. Tired of it.
