So this means that two of our country’s potential presidents believe that a) slavery was actually beneficial, or b) they don’t read what they sign. either way, it shows that they are not suited to run for the presidential office.

This woman is so far beyond the fence post when it comes to imposing her religious views and practices it’s almost scarey. She is plainly hypocritical and radical. When you are talking about government, you have to separate church and state, uphold and respect civil rights, and come up with solutions that are viable. She does not possess any of these qualities. All I have ever heard from her mouth is this and that about Obama, no solutions, no structured criticism. She just just another political player just like the rest of the good ole boys. I’m not saying Obama has been the best of Presidents, but people keep forgetting it’s Congress with the power to spend and they are the ones stalled out. Our our economical problems didn’t just start 2 years ago. It’s fall out from bad decisions and practices from the past 2 Bush terms.

I wish this woman one million migraines in a mili-second. How dare she sign a pledge stating part of our citizens were better off during “SLAVERY” one of the worse blemishes on our country. How did she learn American History? Either she is a perfect IDIOT or a perfect DEVIL.

Poor conservatives, will they survive the exposure of who they really are on this campaign? We all know it, but just don’t say it. This is an intelligence war. Karl Rove did an excellent job energizing this country’s most feeble minded to vote for the worlds dumbest leader, now these people are making they’re own waves. Its embarrassing to watch. With William F. Buckley’s passing, so went any hope of “intelligent conservatism.”

Slavery was once and abomination to this country. The Europeans once described it as a “curious institution”. Families were torn apart and the “Masters” often fathered children with the slave women and kept their progeny around only to free them at death. Is this the great thing that was described in relations to African-American children?
This country will never be post racial and as evidenced the true feelings of ALL American that lives ever so close to the surface seeps out. When it does everyone becomes so surprised at what they are hearing. Well I’m not. As long as the Devil continue to roam this Earth racism will continue to flourish. And that is the sad state of our world. The Devil has his grip so tight and hard around this planet that genuine kindness, love for all, and respect has evaporated.
Often people ask “How can that happen?” Well if these evangelical Christians, Catholics, Jews, and Muslims really read and believe than they would see that the Devil of their religious orientation has such a grip on everything alive.
Granted, I admit to not being the most religious person in the world but I really try to understand others and show genuine kindess to my fellow man. It is soooo easy being kind. It doesn’t take energy and thought. Imagine the energy saved being kind to all.

Did they read this garbage before they signed it? I am so tired of hearing these people twist and be so ignorantto the history of the country they swear they love so much. Who the h#@! are they to say that Black babies were better of as slaves? On what plantation? During that time, Black slaves were forbidden to even marry, so technically the Black “family did not exist. Many of these babies were the product of the greedy slaveowners (and their cronies), ripped from their mothers so that the owners “legitimate” children could be tended to, and/or to be sold away for profit, and brutally whipped once old enough to “work” the master’s fields or home. Better off how? What does Bachman know? She may not be as ditzy as Palin, but she is just as ignorant about some things. After all, if founding fathers worked so hard to end slavery, why did it take them over a hundred years to abolish it?
