Hopesprings52- you just remember what you want to. Obama spent 750 billion on shovel ready jobs that he admitted wasn't shovel ready 2 years later and after he ignored the experts that told he they weren't yet he said the were fools. The only fools are people like you that think he has done anything good. What he has done is drive us deeper into a hole. The country has more people out of work since he has been in office. So believe what you want because no matter what is the truth you will not care anyway

Rhetoric. Obama is just full of it. To him compromise is if you agree to sit in the back of the bus.

Remember when 80% of the nation thought America was moving in the wrong direction at the end of the Bush era? As we teetered on the edge of an economic meltdown in 2007, Americans were sick of the unfunded and unfounded wars. We were struggling after a decade of stagnant job creation. We were right.
Yet, Republicans appeared to have been caught off guard when they lost the White House.
This year, 80% of us say it's OK to raise taxes on Millionaires. The new tea-soaked Libertarian GOP is ignoring us.
They don't seem to care if the rest of the nation suffers while they continue to promote a failed ideology at our expense: Corporate subsidies and tax cuts to the wealthiest. Otherwise, why would they pander to born-again John Birchers and the corporate wealthy, marching lockstep toward national political losses in the next election cycle? Vote them GONE.

Can we call him King of Food-stamps ? Give me, give me...trillions more to blow while we need only JOBS, JOBS and JOBS.
Where are the JOBS? Shovels or not! How much more spending before we can see some job creation.

ok fox..then how about a good old flat tax instead of 15% that applies to everyone, even the 48%. then the 48% might get mad as hell when the illegals dont pay a dime and take their jobs because they will work under the table for cash. i would support raising taxes once we have rung out the waste and deported the illegals.anything short of that is meaningless.

lol...lol...loL....I JUST WONDER WHAT ALL THE NEGATIVE RIGHT WING POSTERS ARE GOIN TO SAY AND DO NEXT FALL WHEN 'WHATEVER CLOWN' THEY SEND UP AGAINST THE PRESIDENT...GETS DRUBBED? My prediction? The Right is going to 'blow themselves up' over the debt ceiling topic - you just watch. Hopefully they won't destroy our economy and the world's stability, just to protect the wealthy 5% of the population. Their biggest campaign contributors.

he is right. Since he became president alot of Americans have had to eat PEAs for lunch and dinner. They have no more money because they have to pay Obamas big oil pals more monet to get to work. Remember a few months ago the town hall meeting when he was asked by a dtuggling father about the economy and how expensive it is and he had to park his car because fule was to high? What did Obama tell the guy? Maybe he needed to invest in a fuel efficient car!!! The guy is barely surviving and Obama tells him to spend more moeny on a nedw car. Obamas Volt car that cost over 33,000.00. The guy has to be kicked out of office.

First, its NOT YOUR MONEY, its your kids and grandkids money because the government has created such an entitlement society that they have squandered far more than the cofers of SS have to give up.. in short, you can scream all you want about it being your money and how you are not willing to take a cut.. thats fine, you can live witht he alternative.. DOING WITHOUT COMPLETELY because that is where we are headed.. your choice.. take a cut or lose it all..
Second, Are you aware that subsidies for oil companies and other "super rich" people amount to less than 100 billion, yet the unfunded liabilities of Social security, medicare and medicaid amount to 135 TRILLION over the next 25 years?? Sure, less cut out all the subsidies, and tax breaks.. that will result in about 2% of th money we need, BUT it will mean that unemployment goes even higher alon with inflation as these taxes are passed on in the form of layoffs and inflation.. great plan there...
Whether or not you like it, big business is what drives the economy for everyone else.. we already have the most restrictive corporate tax structure in the developed world, which is why jobs are moving to places where they mean MORE profits. Make the situation worse and watch more jobs leave...
I won't even get into the healthcare issue.. suffice it to say, if its so great, then why have over 2000 companies already been given waivers to keep it from costing them jobs or forcing them to drop coverage they already have... and are you aware that Obama care WILL cut 400 billion from medicare and medicaid? If you don't want your benefits cut, then why in the world are you suporting this??
Wake up...
